^Erika Green
Sighing, Erika plopped down on her bed, throwing the covers over her body.
"I-It can't be all that bad." Michelle was saying, sitting down on the edge of Erika's bed and rubbing her back soothingly. "Clara...she's usually pretty good dealing with trouble. I can't imagine she'd go and get herself in trouble on purpose."
Erika threw her covers off, looking up at the girl. "You didn't see what we saw." Erika said, shaking her head. "She was on a bloody rampage. She shrunk the Weasley twins heads for Merlin's sake!"
Niki snorted from where she sat on her bed. "It was amazing. Nearly the whole school has been talking about it." Erika made and face and covered herself in her blankets again.
"Come on Erika, I'm sure she's fine. It's just past curfew, maybe she's running a bit late? You know the Prefects will catch her if she's just wandering the halls." Michelle said, getting up to change out of her day clothes.
"I'm not so sure about that." Erika's muffled voice said under her blankets. "We've been searching for her since everyone left for the Hogsmeade trip. There was no bloody sign of her."
"I'll go talk to Gabriella." Niki said, getting up from where she sat on her bed. "Her and Cedric must be made aware that there is a missing Hufflepuff--"
A loud bang echoed outside the dormitory, startling Niki. "What the bloody hell what that?" All three of the girls, now dressed in their nightgowns, made their way to the common room where the Hufflepuffs began to gather together.
"Sirius Black..."
"Heard he attacked the Gryffindor tower..."
"Murderer in the castle..."
Voices were all over, everyone rambling about. Professor Sprout stood in the middle, the Fat Friar hovering the background.
"All Hufflepuffs are to make their way to the Great Hall immediately!" Professor Sprout was saying. The Prefects, Gabriella Capello and Cedric Diggory, were scrambling about, collecting all the remaining students who hadn't made their way to the common room yet.
"Alright." Niki said, turning to see all the worried expressions on the students that huddled in the common room. "Am I hallucinating or did I hear Sirius bloody Black is in the castle?" She whispered, turning to her two roommates who were just as confused as she was.
After all the students were rounded up, the Hufflepuffs made their way to the Great Hall, Professor Sprout leading the way, the Prefects herding the students like sheep.
Gabriella walked not far in front of Niki, her raven hair tied up in a messy up due, clearly not expecting to be out of bed passed curfew. Squeezing through the crowd of people, Niki grabbed her gently by the arm, catching the girl's attention.
"Gabriella." Niki called.
"Yes? What is it?" She turned and realized it was Niki who had stopped her, and her expression softened. "Oh Niki." She pulled her into a quick hug before the two continued on. "Are you quite alright?" She asked. Niki shook her head, frowning as she looked ahead at the Hufflepuff students now making their way down the corridor.
"Is it true? Is Sirius Black really in the castle?" Niki asked, and even through her tough armor, Gabriella could sense the fear and panick in Niki's voice.
"I'm afraid so..." Gabrielle said. She took Niki's hand in hers and gave it a gentle squeeze. "But don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you." She gave Niki and warm smile and Niki blushed, slipping her hand out of Gabriella's.
