Eyes leaking isolated and unpunctual tears, Erika Green lay alone--curled into a tight ball atop her small, neatly made poster bed. Her clean, hot pink blanket was now wrinkled and beneath her soaked face was pink stained black with mascara. Her cherry red hair that was usually smoothly airblown and styled to her perfection was now frizzy, matted to her crying, reddened face. Erika always took great care of herself ever since she first learned about princesses and their stunning outfits, hair, and makeup when she was five. What started as a hopeless desire to be a princess, developed into a passion for beauty and fashion--and she wanted to do makeup and hair for a living.

Now, a girl that never let herself go lie beaten and distraught in her own bed. Sobbing for two of her very best friends.

Clara and Penny.

Just like it was rare to see Erika without makeup and a smile, it was rare for her to cry. However, after Erika spent all evening with Penny and learning a shocking secret, she didn't know how else to express the pain and confliction that burned like a wildfire deep within her injured heart. Acid pumped through her veins and Erika would cry out now in then from the internal pain Penny's words had caused. She didn't want to believe it, she didn't want to think of it, but for some reason, those two words that dripped from Penny's rosy lips burned itself into her throbbing brain.

I'm pregnant.

Erika let out another painful sob, gripping a fist full of her blanket as she cried hard into her sheets. She should probably close her dorm room door, Erika thought, because someone was bound to hear her. She had tried so hard in the beginning to cry as silently as possible, but it wasn't like crying silently was something she had perfected over the years. She tried to take a deep breath, but only sickening hiccups erupted from deep within.

Erika didn't know what to do. She loved both Penny and Clara, but a situation much like the one she was in required her to pick a side. Either stay with Penny through her pregnancy, or she stuck with Clara and helped her through the heartbreak this new information would cause.

Another sob ripped violently through Erika's throat.

Was it even her right to tell Clara? Would Penny hate Erika for doing so? What would Clara do to Penny if she found out? What would happen to Percy? Percy Weasley, the bastard who caused the shit storm in the first place.

Erika beat her fist against her bed.

She hated this. She just wanted to sleep and wake up in the morning, all of this being some twisted dream but as she squeezed her eyes shut when yet another sob erupted from deep within, she knew she wasn't getting any sleep. Not unless her body shut down from her crying.

Penny had admitted to Erika that evening why she had been so sick and closed off lately. Erika had been prepared for Penny to tell her she didn't want to be friends, or that she had some sort of sickness and needed to go home before it worsened. However, the fact that she was pregnant was the last thing Erika thought her friend would have told her. But the fact that she was seven months along shocked Erika. It only took a moment or two to put the pieces together.

That around seven months ago Percy Weasley was caught in an empty classroom with Penelope Clearwater by Niki and Gabriella. And Penny and Percy weren't particularly all covered.

It pained Erika so much to ask the question, but when she asked Penny if the baby was Percy's, she didn't give an answer but just started crying into Erika's shoulder.

It took everything Erika had in her not to push the girl away and order her to tell Percy, but she stayed calm and just held her friend as she cried. Penny was so distraught that Erika couldn't get another word out of her. Worried that Penny might dehydrate the baby from all her crying, Erika tried her best to calm her down. Erika had just made it to dropping Penny off in her room, tucking her into her blankets and retrieving a glass of water for Penny, before she began crying herself, practically running through the corridors to make it to her dorm room before anyone saw.
