"You have got to be bloody kidding me." Percy shot a deadly look in the direction of his identical twin brothers. "I am not going to take away from my crucial studying time to help some...some girl who doesn't pay attention in class."
"Oh, come on Perce. What if you were in her shoes--?"
"I wouldn't sleep until I perfected my imperfections." Percy said, crossing his arms over his chest. "I didn't get to where I am now by slacking off in class and depending on others to pull me through."
"Percy, you're the only one she trusts enough to help her with her school work." George was saying, Fred nodding beside him.
"Then why isn't Clara here, asking me for help personally?" Percy asked, and George stuttered, looking to Fred for an answer.
"Because...because you make Clara nervous!" Fred blurted and George pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head at his brother's pathetic answer.
"Sh-she what?" Percy stuttered.
"What Fred is trying to say," George began, shooting a look at Fred. "is that Clara doesn't want you to think less of her by asking for your help. You intimidate her because you're so good at everything you do." Fred snickered beside his twin and George elbowed him in the side.
"You make Clara weak in the knees, if you know what I mean." Fred said, and George snorted but coughed to cover it up.
"What in Merlin's name are you talking about?" Percy asked, his voice rising.
"Percy..." Fred sighed, shaking his head. "Do we have to spell it out for you? Clara wants you. She likes you. L-I-K-E-S Y-O-U."
Percy's face went beet red. "W-well." Percy tugged at the collar of his shirt. "I-I--"
"You like her." Fred said. "Say it with me Perce. You like her--"
"As if!" Percy cut Fred off, giving the two twins a stern look. "I don't have time for...women. I have to focus on my school work. As you two should be doing!" Percy shouted at them before stomping off down the corridor.
George turned to Fred. "Do you suppose Percy's gay?" George asked, and the two pondered the thought for a moment.
"He'd have to be to turn down someone like Clara. Merlin's beard she's--"
"Fred!" George scolded.
"What?" Fred smirked. "I'm a guy, Georgie. It's in my DNA." George rolled his eyes.
"What would Amelia think of your observation of Clara?" George asked, smirking.
Fred's face paled.
"That's what I thought." George sang, sauntering down the corridor.
Clara sat in the library alone, her face buried in her hands as she tried to prevent herself from screaming out in frustration.
For the fourth week in a row, Clara found herself hiding away in the library with her charms books sprawled out before her, tears of frustration threatening to stream down her face. The task had proved to be nearly impossible as Clara struggled to understand the apparent impossible.
Her roommates had attempted at knocking some sense into the young witch, but Clara's brain was withholding any useful information that pertained the subject, leaving the girl frustrated and at the verge of giving up.
A sudden thud in the library caused Clara to look up.
A redheaded boy was bend over, retrieving the book that had fallen on the floor. When he stood up, their eyes locking, a smile spread over her lips at the sight of Percy Weasley.
