I walked into the record store and headed to get my name tag off of a board in the back room. I picked it up, put it on, and walked back out.

Every work day I come here and browse the shelves to see if any records are out of place. There usually aren't many out of place. Today there was only 6 out of place that I had to return to their rightful spot.

After that I usually go around and clean the shelves. That takes me about ten minutes. After that I usually work at the cash register.

"Hey Kaitlyn, listen to this new Taylor Swift song!" My co-worker, Sabrina, suggested.

"Her album already came out!Awesome!" I smiled as I took the earbuds she was handing over to let me listen.

The song sounded amazing like all her music. Sabrina let me listen to all of the other songs on Taylor's new album since there were no customers. On the last song, I heard a murmur of something that I couldn't catch.

"Did you say something?" I asked Sabrina as I pulled the earbuds out.

"No." Sabrina shook her head.

"Oh, I'm so silly." I laughed as I put the earbuds back in my ear.

I heard another murmur I could actually make out after a few seconds, one that cried "Help!"

"Did someone just cry for help?" I asked as a I pulled the earbuds out quickly.

"No. Are you OK?" Sabrina asked.

"Yeah. Something fishy is going on here. I can hear someone cry for help really loudly but you can't. Why?" I asked confused.

"Well, maybe someone's inside my earbuds!" She laughed.

"No, that's not funny. Maybe your right!" I smiled as I put the earbuds back in.

Sabrina took them out again.

"Your going crazy! I was just kidding!" Sabrina laughed.

"Sabrina, someone is actually inside these earbuds, hear it!" I cried as I handed her the earbuds.

She put them in her ears but she looked confused.

"There is no one in there!" Sabrina cried.

I put them in my ear and I heard the voice again.

"Help, please!" I heard.

"Maybe this person needs MY help. That's why you couldn't hear it!" I smiled as I put the earbuds back in.

"How can you believe someone's in my earbuds so quickly?" Sabrina asked as she took the earbuds out.

"I believe in God even though I can't see him. I believe someone is inside these earbuds even though I can't see this person." I explained.

I put the earbuds back in.

"How do I get you out?" I asked the person inside.

"Tell me your deepest, darkest secret." The person yelled.

It sounded like this person was a girl. A little girl. Not that little though. I'm not sure I wanted to tell my deepest secret in front of Sabrina. It's too embarrassing and harsh.

"I'm jealous of my brother." I said.

It wasn't exactly my deepest secret but I just wanted to see if it worked.

"It didn't work." The girl inside said sadly.

"The reason I go to Dunkin Donuts every morning is mainly just to see this really cute guy Zach. And I've fallen in love with him." I tried.

This also may not have been my deepest secret but I was just realizing it was true. I'm kind of ashamed that my reason isn't just to read God's Word. I need to change. I'm such a terrible Christian.

"Sorry." I heard the girl inside say.

I knew what I would have to say next. I knew this one had to work. I didn't want to say it. Not at all.

"I absolutely hate my parents and I always have." I cried.

Before I knew it, fog was pouring out of the earbuds. I took them out and the fog was coming out more rapidly. A figure started to appear.

Out of the blue the figure became whole. It was a girl with brown hair in a braid that had a pink dress and a jean jacket on

"What did I just see?" I heard a voice say from behind me.
