Chapter 2: Weiss

Author's note: Hey, This is my first story, so bare with me if it's terrible, or I don't know how to write certain characters. The first few chapters will be short, as I am introducing how my OC got into the lives of the team. Thank you for baring with me! And reading my story. I will be adding Omakes sooner or later because they're Funny. Also it's kinda in character for Blake to have more than one love interest so her "flirting" with Shadow isn't out of the question.

*Story Start*

Weiss walked out of the exam room, having a good amount of aura left, tired, but overall satisfied with her performance. Her late exam had definitely given her an easier one, as the examiners had wanted to go early, but she was certain she had earned herself a spot at the esteemed Beacon academy, making her family proud. 'Now all that's left is to wait for the airship.'

However, after 15 minutes had past, Weiss started to become worried. 'Did father forget about me? No, he wouldn't have. He probably got delayed at work, and will be here shortly. I have nothing to worry about.'

However, she gained something to worry about when an unmarked airship landed in the field. She knew it wasn't her father, as the door would have opened mid flight as he does every time he picks her up from somewhere. She began to sweat when 5 White Fang members walked out, all armed and staring at her menacingly. She drew Myrtenaster quickly, watching them circle around her slowly. The two bigger Faunus in the back did not seem in much of a hurry, slowly walking up to her position, but the three in front rushed in with their swords, trying to hit her from three different directions. She parried one blow into the other and ducked the third, before encasing all three members in a block of ice, surprised at how easy that was. 'Three down, two to go.'

She turned to the other Faunus, noting one had dog like ears and one had a thin tail, like some type of cat. The dog eared one seemed to have on black cestus gloves, which were a Roman type glove that looked like rounder UFC gloves. Except it was mostly made of leather, and had spiked metal plates on the knuckles for hurting your enemy more, cutting into their skin lightly with every punch.

She read about it in an old textbook, but had never seen anyone actually use one; it was a hard weapon to use, and an interesting choice for a criminal. One look at his stance let Weiss know he knew how to use them well. However he seemed to also be carrying some form of compacted weapon on his back, but she couldn't tell what it was, only being able to see the hilt. His White Fang cloak trailed behind him, but since it only reached the back of his knees Weiss noted it wouldn't affect his mobility.

The Cat tailed Faunus had no subtle weapon. He pulled out a massive chainsaw, already revving it up to begin the fight. It was a blazing red, with white mixed in their randomly, seeming to have no pattern. His partner shook his head in disgust, before smirking in Weiss general direction.

"I apologize for my partner's flashy weapon. He has no tact, and only a taste for battle, so you must excuse his impudence. However, I will give you the chance to surrender before the battle even begins, else you get injured." Weiss was surprised at the Faunus' elegant way of speaking, and it threw her off enough that she couldn't formulate a proper response.

Taking her silence as a no, he sighed and motioned for his partner to move. His partner did so, grinning crazily as he swung his weapon widely. She dodged to the side easily, rolling around to parry a slash across her leg.  She ducked his slash aimed at her head, putting the flat of her blade across the front of his mask, where the bridge of his nose would be. He stumbled back angrily, before going for a downward slash again. She smirked, preparing to roll to the left around the blow, when he shifted his blade, swinging it in a way that stopped her from being able to dodge it. She braced for impact, before being slammed backwards hard enough to roll across the ground heavily, her aura taking a heavy drop.
