Author's Note: hi! I hope Blake's reasoning makes sense now. She's not really annoyed with Weiss, she just still has all her prejudice from the original show. She doesn't trust the Schnee, but since Weiss is partnered with Jay her bigotry is less prominent. As such, it makes Blake suspicious she's gonna do something sneaky to hurt them, and makes her act all snooty with Weiss. But Weiss is stubborn, so she acts snooty back, and it's just a bad cycle that would go on and on unless stopped.

P.S. Last chapters Omake happened after this chapter, not before.

Y'know you could help?" Jay commented dryly. He looked over at Weiss, who was sitting on the stump of one of the trees, watching Jay take the sap out of a different one.

Weiss switched her legs, leaning over them to smile sweetly at Jay. "Why yes, Jay, I could help", she began, "but then I'd get my dress dirty. And you-"

"Enough said." Jay interrupted. Weiss looked at him, perplexed, forcing him to continue. "If you got your dress dirty, you'd blame me, forcing me to listen to you gripe about it the rest of this trip. Then, when we got back to Beacon, you'd try to make you wash your clothes for you, but since you're smart you'd do it in front of Nora so that I'd have to wash hers too, which would then force me to wash the whole teams clothing and waste a whole afternoon away, because your whites can't be washed with Ren's greens, so I'd have to do so many different loads and-" Jay stopped himself forcefully, smiling strained at Weiss. "This is easier." He finished with a laugh.

Weiss swelled up in what she considered righteous fury. However, try as she might she could not think of an adequate comeback to what he said. Instead, she crossed her arms and recrossed her legs, turning her head away from him and pouting. "Whatever." She said dismissively.

Jay rolled his eyes, finishing his and her jugs up before handing them to her. "Relax Weiss!" He laughed. "It's no big deal that I'm right, because I'm right so many times! Right?"

Weiss looked at his expectant face. "You're Insufferable." She muttered.

"You're Intolerable." He responded immediately. When Weiss started to walk away, he turned around and stood there in trepidation. "So what's the deal with you and Blake?" He asked lightly.

Weiss froze. However, to Jay's surprise, she exploded at him immediately. "It's none of your business!" She screamed, turning to poke a finger into his chest.

Jay put his hands up in a disarming fashion. "Whoa whoa whoa! Calm down, Princess! It was just a simple question."

Weiss wasn't deterred, however. "Well keep your questions to yourself! It's none of your business!" She repeated.

Jay was immediately annoyed. "Umm, when you guys are arguing about me, I assume that it has to do with me, which does make it my business!"

"Who said we were arguing about you?" Weiss countered.

"It's kinda hard not to know when you're using my name so much! So what's the problem?" Jay pressed.

"It's none of your business!"

"Yes it is Weiss!"

"Jay you wouldn't even-"

"You wouldn't know what I can do if you don't tell me what's going on!"

"But Jay if you just-"

"I can't listen to you about anything else if you're not gonna be honest with me about this!"

"Okay, now you're just-"

"Since my opinion doesn't matter to you, why should yours matter to me?!"

"Jay, don't say something you'll-"

"Don't tell me what to do Weiss! If you can't trust me with this information then why would I-"

"That's not it and you know it!"

"Then what IS IT WEISS?!" Jay bellowed.

"Oh God, this is good!" Cardin crowed. Team CRDL (along with a reluctant Jaune and a slightly amused Astria) had been following Weiss and Jay through the Forest, when they started to argue. Cardin thought it was the perfect chance to ambush them with the jam and the hornets, but Astria disagreed, forcing them to continue listening to the argument.

Astria looked at the situation, amused. "Atta girl Weiss!" She cheered silently. "Way to assert your dominance."

Jaune and Team CRDL looked at her, confused. "Astria, you know what happened?" Jaune asked.

Astria nodded. "Of course. I was the one that taught her how to handle my wayward son. Now shush, the shows starting again."

The group was confused, before turning back to the two of them. Well, most of them, as Astria had dragged Jaune away without Team CRDL noticing.

"A couple Ursa Majors are coming." Astria told him. "Either get the rest of your friends, get Weiss and Jay to actually focus, or use my training to defeat them."

"Training? What training?" Jaune asked.

"DODGE!" Astria answered.

Quick as a flash, Jaune was standing behind Astria, back to back so she would have a terribly hard time grabbing him. He blinked afterwards, turning around in astonishment and meeting Astria's smirking face.

"What? Oh, don't give me that astonished face. I promise the Pup I would train you, and I have been. Sure, my training isn't very... normal, I guess, but it gets the job done. I have all the certainty in the world that you could handle this if you had to yourself. So what's it gonna be?" She implored.

Jaune looked at her, still unsure. "But what about my transcript? Cardin knows it's fake and-"

"You're forgetting something." Astria cut in. "You're my apprentice, as in, not one of Ozpins. He has no jurisdiction over if you stay or leave."

"What?!" Jaune squeaked. "Then why did you let Cardin walk all over me like that?"

"It was funny." Astria shrugged her shoulders. "Look, worry less about yelling at me, and worry more about-"

Suddenly, behind them they heard a mighty roar. The turned around to see one of the Ursa Major had swatted away Weiss while her guard was down, effectively knocking her out, and was looming over her while Jay was turned, his eyes darting between her down form and the two others in front of him.

"Weiss!" Jaune screamed in terror.

"-that." Astria finished smugly.
