Author's Note: Weiss isn't a bad person. In the show, at the start, she always acted impulsively and strongly, as she exploded at Ruby when she thought she would be the better leader. This isn't any different. The outcome will be much worse, true, but I still think taking this deal is within Weiss's character, and that it makes sense. And what did Astria need the dust for????

Jay reformed in the hallway, coming face to face with Ren. "You listened to that huh?" Jay asked bitterly, stepping back.

Ren nodded. "She does have a point." He began. "You've been treating us like you're in charge, like we're soldiers and you're the leader. Interesting mindset, but not one that's entirely accurate. You ARE the team leader, true, but we're all human beings. It would be appreciated if you took our advice or thoughts and feelings into account before you made decisions that affect all of us."

"I haven't really made any-"

"You threw the bed out without asking any of us, setting up your hanging chair. You threw out 2 desk, because you thought we wouldn't need them, again without checking with any of us. You're collecting Grimm fragments that don't dissolve, for whatever reason. You're probably gonna keep them in our room, again without our permission or consent. The Deathstalker fight, you did what you wanted and commanded the rest of us to follow your lead. Should I go on?" Ren crossed his arms and smirked, before sighing.

"Look, I'm not saying it's bad to lead or take initiative. But taking the choice away from everybody else, because you think you know what's right? That's more likely to get you hated, then for you to get good results." Ren stood up, putting his hand on Jay's shoulder before he walked past.

Jay watched him leave, before looking back at the room he just came from. 'Ren... does have a point. Have I really been that controlling? I just thought I had good ideas and I just implemented them... Without checking with my team. I guess I have been a bad leader.' Jay mused.

He turned away from the door, walking to his dorm room. If he had waited another minute, he would have seen Weiss walk out, with a complicated look on her face.

Weiss looked around slowly, before hiding the clamp she had behind her back. However, before anything else could be done, she felt a hand land on her shoulder. She looked up fearfully at Ozpin, who smiled down at her quickly to assuage her fear.

"Young Ms.Schnee", Ozpin began, "you and I, it seems, need to have a talk."

Jay went to sleep early, before the other 3 even got changed into their pajamas. Weiss watched him sleep, poking him a couple times and grinning when he didn't seem to move. 'This is my chance!'

She rummaged in her bag, pulling out the silver clamp. She opened it and stood over his left arm, moving it to clamp on his bicep-

"Weiss. Whatcha doing?" Nora asked.

Weiss jumped, hiding the clamp behind her back. She turned to look at Nora, sighing in relief that Ren was still in the bathroom doing his own thing.

"Nothing, Nora. Just go to bed." She replied.

"Nooooo", Nora drawled, "'cause if you were doing nothing you wouldn't have hid that Silvery bangle thingie! So what is it?" Nora asked, trying to peak at it.
