Chapter 1:
It was October 6th in the afternoon. Me and my mom were watching t.v. My mom changes the channel again, and again, and again. Until, I finally say turn to channel 5. "BREAKING NEWS. STAY IN SHELTER. IT IS NOT SAFE OUTSIDE OF YOUR DOORS." I looked at my mom. "What do they mean?" "Go get Grayson and Addy ..." she said. My heart started beating as I ran to my little brothers room. "Grayson come on!" I say. "What's going on?!?" He said
confused. He was only 8, how was he supposed to know what was going on? I grabbed his arm and ran to Addy's room. She was laying on her bed with her thumb in her mouth. I didn't even hesitate to ask her to come. I picked her up as I was holding Grayson's arm. She started to speak as I got to the stairs. "Anna ?"she said. I could tell she was worried. Just don't talk .... Just.. Just listen to me and mom." I say. I look everywhere for my mom. I run to the window. What's out there that's so dangerous? "Anna!?!? Anna come here fast!" I heard a voice from a distance. It was my moms voice. When I reached my mom I set addy down. She was still sucking her thumb. "Look .." Mom said. I peeked open the curtain and what I saw was like one of my dreams I had last night. I even told mom about it. I had a bad feeling in my stomach. My dream was of the start of a zombie apocalypse.
