Chapter 20: You Never Know.

Glenn's POV

I kept running around looking for everyone. Where did they go???!!??!!?

I screamed.

"HELLO??? RICK??? MAGGIE???"

Maggie.

I need to find Maggie.

I started feeling better, now. Atleast better than I was acouple days ago considering I got sick. But I'm guessing they left because it was a complete emergency. And they forgot me.

I go into my cell and put on my bulletproof suit. I put Maggie's picture In my bag.

Then I continued walking.

I decide I should go check someone's cell and see if their stuff and thaangs are gone. If they are, that means they must've had time to grab everything and it wasn't that big of an emergency.

But then again Maggie didn't come for me. I was asleep when everything happened.

I walk into Beth's cell. Most of her thangs are gone. (((😂)))

They must've had time. Or they prepared it because they knew something was gonna happen. I walk to Anna's cell. The door is closed. Anna's things were gone, but Sky's were still there. I open the cell door.

Sure enough, Sky was sitting on the top bunk of the bed.

"Skylynn?" I said.

She innocently looked up at me.

"GLENN!!" She said.

She sounded so happy to see me. Atleast someone was.

"Why are you still here?" I said.

"They left me," she said, her little voice trembling.

"They left me to........ .Well come on, we gotta get outa here." I said. I picked her up put her on the ground.

"Grab some things you absolutely can't live without and put them in your bag." I said.

She grabbed her favorite shirt, pink with a butterfly, and put it in her bag. Then she took her blanket that was raggity and ripped.

"That can stay right?" I said.

"No! My mommy gave it to me before she............................left."

"Oh, I'm very sorry. You can take it," I said.

She looked back down at her blanket and threw it in her bag. Then she grabbed some other important things and shoved them in her bag.

Now remember, 'important' to a 5 year old is very different than the real definition of important. So she didn't really grab necessary items, but I let her anyways. She's only five.

I grab her bag and put it around my shoulder. But then I remembered that I was safe under the suit, but what would she wear? They would tear her apart.

"Uh.....Skylynn, you have to stay close to me okay?" I said.

"I know." She said.

I picked her up. Then I remembered the bubble wrap. That would definetly help us no matter how stupid it would look. I don't think that really matters.

"Come , follow me," I said.

Sky was holding my hand and she was behind me. We were running to Daryl's cell. I opened the door and grabbed the bubble wrap.

"Now, this might be weird, but you have to trust me. Okay?"

"Ohkay," she said.

I started to wrap Skylynn in it.

"This is so weird," she said.

After I finished she was just a ball of bubble wrap. But atleast she was small enough for all of it to wrap around acouple of times. Even if a walker bit it, it would take time to actually get to her body.

Skylynn was in my arms and we ran outside. No one was there, except for the walkers. There wasn't as much as I expected, but still.
