The Apocalypse

Chapter 7 part 2:

(Here's chapter 7 part 2 guys!! Sorry it took so long, I was writing my other book "fangirls everywhere!" This chapter isn't that long, but I promise the next one will be.😉)

"Anna !!!!" Was all I remembered. That to the sound of Carl's voice. "Anna duck!" He said. It kept replaying and replaying in my head over and over again. I looked around. The governor must have left because there was no sign of him anywhere.

Carl was there on the ground. He had blood all over him. I drop my gun and run to him. "Carl!" I say. "Carl wake up!!! Wake up!!!" I yell. Maggie turns around and runs to carl. "Emily!! Go get Carol!! Now & hurry!!" She said. Emily runs into the prison to get Carol.

I touch the wound in his stomach. I put pressure so he wouldn't bleed to death. "Carl, stay with me Carl. Please." I say.
Carol comes running out. "Carl!" She says. She kneels down next to us. She pulls up carls shirt and puts pressure on his stomach. I saw a scar there. "He's been shot there before," Maggie said. I nodded.

Emily ran out. "What happened????" She said. I look at Carl. He looks so lifeless. I wipe the tears from my face and look to find rick. He was running up by us. "CARL!!!! CARL!!!!" He screamed. "Can you save him ?..." I ask.
"I'm pretty sure the bullet went right through him. He'll be okay." She said. Rick reached us. "Is he okay??? Will he live !?!? Carol!!!!" Rick said. "Yes yes rick! He should be fine we just need to get him inside, right away." She said. "Anna, honey you have to let go," carol said. I didn't realize my hand was locked in his. I went to pull my hand away but I couldn't. His grip didn't let me go.

"Carl?" I say. "Aaa-aa-nna?" He says. "Carl!!" I say. "Carl!" Rick says. "Carl!" Maggie says. We still rush him inside. He's in his bed in his cell block. Were all around him. Carol did some of her magic on him (don't take that in a way I know your taking it ) and he was healing. Herschel was gone. But Maggie knew she had to be strong. "We should leave these two alone," rick said. Then, everyone left. The last one that left was Emily & she smiled when she walked out.

I touched carls face gently with my fingertips. His shiny blue eyes opened and looked at me. He smiled. I smiled back. " everything's gonna be okay, I promise." I say. "I--I --love you Anna," he said. My heart beated faster. He said it. Thee three worded sentence. ~I love you~ .0.

" I- I love you too, Carl." I said. He smiled again and closed his eyes. I got up from the edge of the bed and walked out of his cell. Everyone was looking at me. "What?" I said. "Oh nothing," Grayson said. Then I noticed that everybody probably heard me say I love you. My face suddenly went from 👧 to 😳.
