"What the hell happened, Sage?" Riley says angrily as we saw Ian drive away.

"He found out about New Orleans and we broke up." I say and go back inside the apartment with Riley at my heels.

"Did you tell him about the baby?" Riley asks and I shake my head. "What were you thinking, Sage?"

"You know what? It's the middle of summer so I think we need a vaction." I say not wanting anymore questions.

"A vacation? Are you crazy?" Riley says and Jupiter barks.

"See? Jupiter agrees with me... How about LA?" I say and Riley growls in anger.

"Over my dead body am I going to LA!" Riley shouted.

"You were saying?" I smirk at a pouting Riley.

We were at the airport waiting for our flight. I threatened Riley that I would disappear the dog if she didn't come and that did the trick.

Riley's phone begins to ring at the same time as mine and we both answer it.

"Hello?"

'Sage? It's me Joseph, I got your text.'

"Yeah, I'm going to LA now." I say. I had texted Joseph that Ian and I were done.

'I'm at New Orleans but I'll take a plane and stay in LA with you for the summer?'

"That'll be awesome! We'll rent a beach house or something." I say with a grin.

'Sounds like a plan, love.' Joseph says and hangs up.

Riley had finish talking on the phone and now she glared at me.

"So you're hooking up with Joseph Morgan now?" Riley says accusingly.

"We're just friends, Riley Elena." I say tiredly.

We went to LA and had the summer of our lives. Riley admitted she was having fun with Joseph and they went everywhere together.

Joseph was very supportive, not talking about Ian and helping me as my stomach grew larger each day.

I was seven months pregnant and I haven't felt a single kick. Doctor's say she's a very calm baby so I didn't mind.

I went baby shopping with Riley but I was mostly sad, wishing that Ian was here. I felt that a part of me had died when I left him or maybe I left it with him.

It was my birthday, what I loved about LA was that I could go to the beach in the middle of September.

Everyone got out of the car at the beach except me.

"What's wrong, love, your back hurts?" Joseph says as he opened my car door.

"No, I look like a fat cow if I take my top off." I say shyly. I was wearing a tank top and shorts but I was wearing a blue bikini underneath.

"You're beautiful, Sage, you're creating life. Now c'mon." Joseph pulls me out of the car and takes my top off.

"You're the sexiest pregnant lady alive!" Joseph chuckles and I smack his arm.

"Hurry up, Jupiter is getting impatient!" Riley says trying to control an excited Jupiter on her leash.

We start walking on the boardwalk and we were getting a couple of stares.

"Why are they always staring?" I say suddenlt self-conscious.

"It's because of me, Sage, last time I checked I'm still famous." Joseph smirks and passes a hand through his copper hair.

"Sorry, Mr. Famous, can't you have more fun?" I say mockingly and manage to jump on his back. He caught me and loops his arms around my knees and I looped my arms around his neck.

"This looks like a decent spot." Joseph says and puts me down gently.

I laid all the stuff we brough on the shore and went to play volleyball with Riley and Joseph. I got tired quickly and went to sit down on the sand. Joseph camea while later and we both sat down while Riley played with Jupiter in the water.

I was chating with Joseph when I felt something in kick my stomach.

"Ow!" I say suddenly and lay a hand on my belly.

"What is it?" Joseph says in concern and the baby kicks me again.

"She kicked me, Joseph!" I say excitedly and pressed Joseph's hand to my belly. She kicked again and Joseph's eyes went wide.

Our excitement was interupted when Riley shouted, "Ian!"

I look up and there he was just a few feet away. Riley ran to him and he caught her and spun her around.

I quickly covered my belly with a towel and place the beach bag on my lap. Ian comes and stands right in front of me. He was wearing black shorts and camisole with black sunglasses.

Had he gotten hotter or was it just me?

"Hey, Sage." He says and smiles smugly.

"What are you doing here?" I ask as he sat down next to me.

"I live here remember?" Ian says while we watched Joseph and Riley play volleyball in front of us.

"Oh, right." I say remembering him telling me he owned a house in LA.

"How are things?" I ask and he takes his sunglasses of to glare at me with those piercing blue eyes.

"You tell me, Sage, you left all of a sudden and hook up with Joseph... Oh, I'm fine." Ian says sourly and I scowl at him.

"The second I broke up with you, I could do whatever the hell I wanted-- Ah!" I cry out. The baby was kicking me the whole time and this time it was at my ribs.

"What?" Ian says his face softening as he saw me cringe. Joseph heard me and came to my rescue.

"We better leave, Sage, I'm late for an interview..." Joseph makes up an excuse.

"Yeah, we should." I say through clenched teeth.

Ian looked at us suspiciously but he bought it. "I'll be leaving then... Happy Birthday, Sage."

Ian left and the baby stopped kicking instantly.

"Oh, now you stop?" I say at my belly and roll my eyes.

We went back to the beach house and I thought about Ian all day. It was late at night and I was sitting in the living room, unable to sleep. Joseph walks in and sees me.

"Can't sleep?" He says and I nod my head.

"I can't stop thinking about Ian." I say as he sat down next to me.

"What did he say today?" Joseph whispers.

"He thinks your my boyfriend and he's pissed." I say and draw imaginary cirles with my finger on my belly.

"Sage?" Joseph says and puts a hand on my cheek. I look at him and froze. "I like you alot."

He leans in and kisses me, I was about to kiss him back but I came to my senses.

"No, Joseph," I push him away. "I love Ian... I'm so sorry."

I get up, grab my keys, and quickly slipped my white converse on.

I leave to go find my soul mate.
