"josh, i love you" - josh was in shock, he didn't know how to respond. the girl he loves is finally saying the words back to him.
he was wide eyed and a smile placed on his lips.
he didn't say anything, he just smiled.
"josh please say something."
the blonde girl was worried, worried that josh would act differently towards her now that she's said the three words.
she built up the courage to say those three words and now she doesn't know if it paid off.
he was just looking at her and she felt like crying.
'what if he doesn't feel that way about me anymore?' maya thought
josh stood up, hovering over the small girl.
she looked up at him with worried eyes, tears starting to form.
josh held her face in his hands, caressing her cheek with his thumb.
"maya you know i love you."
with that he lowered his lips towards her, closing his eyes and putting his feelings into the kiss.
this was maya's first kiss, she didn't know what to do.
with josh everything felt right, so she closed her eyes and went with it.
from a distance you could see maya's best friend watching in awe

"farkle, they're kissing."
farkle made a face before falling to the ground, passed out.
maya and josh pulled away from each other and smiled.
they were finally both happy.
