Suho was right.
A four bedroom house is too small for twelve people. Weirdly enough, a bigger house was awfully easy to find. People are fleeing from Busan because of the border, but they aren't letting people through. Maybe we should go somewhere else too, but Floyd insisted on staying and we didn't want him more upset than he already was.
Believe me, he was quite upset. Furious even. He might've broken two flower pots outside because he kicked them. We just left him to do whatever he needed to express his anger, to cool down. In the end he came to my room and I comforted him until he stopped crying. I think he was so happy to have settled down finally. We've been running for so long and I think he just cracked. He cracked like I have many, many times. Maybe that's why I don't feel as emotional leaving this place behind. In the back of my head I knew that we couldn't stay here, though we are leaving for another reason.
We stand in front of a big villa that looks really classy. We all stare at it, but we don't seem to have the guts to enter. It's to prestigious and beautiful. It's nothing like us. We've been living like roaches for most of our lives and now we're in front of this house in our old clothes. We don't fit the house and the house doesn't fit us, but it is the only big house in the region that's empty, so this is our only option.
'Okay, let's go,' I say and walk in first. We get scanned by the door so that it recognizes us when we walk in again.
'Okay, game plan,' Suho says when we all gather int he big, marble hallway, 'We all go past the rooms and everyone can claim a room. If two people claim a room, we just go on and see if they'd like another room. Let's do this like adults instead of toddlers.' The group agrees and we go upstairs to the rooms. Each and every room has it's own bathroom. There are fifteen bedrooms and bathrooms in total, which means we have three spare rooms.
After a good hour, we divided the rooms. There are five rooms on each floor, meaning there are four floors with the ground floor included. Lay and I were the only once with rooms on the third floor, but Floyd made us trade rooms with him and Sehun. Sehun doesn't really seem to care about anything though. He's not really involved in anything either.

'Let's go do something,' I say out of the blue while Lay and I lie on my bed. A soft groan comes from his mouth when I suggest activity. He's been hanging with the beagle line all day after they forced him to join them on a walk over the beach. It has been three days in the new house.
'Why though?' he asks.
'I don't know. I just want to do something together,' I tell him and roll over so that my chest is pressed against his. A smile plays on his lips, revealing his dimples and giving me butterflies.
'You're too cute,' he replies.
'So we're going to do something?' I ask, trying to hold my excitement.
'Sure, what though?'
'How about dinner?' I suggest with my cutest smile.
'Oh, you want to go on a date. I thought you actually wanted to do something active,' he says with a bit of relief on his face. 'Okay, where?'
'I saw a ramen restaurant when we drove here. It shouldn't be too far away,' I tell him. He nods and carefully rolls me off him to get up.
'Let's go.'

'Where are Lay and Mali?' Floyd asks the group.
'Oh, they went out for dinner,' Baekhyun says with the biggest grin on his face. He knows it'll piss Floyd off and pissing people off is just so funny to him.
'As in a date?'
'I doubt they went as just friends,' Chen adds to Baekhyun's story. You can almost see the blood boiling in Floyd's body. He wouldn't get angry if they'd just told him they went on a date, but the way they said it and the fact that he hasn't slept well for a while now made him quite angry.
'I am so done with you,' Floyd says and leaves the room. Chen and Baekhyun high-five each other and laugh loudly at Floyd's exit.

'Did you like the food?' I ask Lay as we walk down the street, swinging our intertwined hands back and forth rhythmically.
'A lot. It was delicious. Did you like it as well?' he asks me with a nervous smile on his face.
'I did,' I tell him. A small question mark on my forehead. 'Are you okay Lay?'
'I think I love you,' he blurs out, instandly seeming to regret it.
'You think you love me?' He turns bright red.
'Yes - Well, no - I don't think I - I know I-' he stutters. We both realize that this won't work this way. He takes a deep breath and my other hand in his hand. We face each other, he stares into my eyes. 'I love you.' A big smile spreads on my face.
'I love you too,' I tell him. His dimples show again. Pure happiness is on his face and we continue walking again.
'Aw, how cute,' we turn around to the voice, 'when is the wedding?' Kris and Tao are right behind us.
'They seem so shocked, don't they?' Kris asks Tao.
'It's like they didn't think we'd go after them for escaping,' Tao replies as he takes a step closer.
'Such a shame a cute face like that has to die,' Kris says, which immediately makes Lay put his guard up. He takes a stand in front of me.
'How cute, he's protecting her,' Tao says with a smirk on his face.
'I think it's stupid. She's so much stronger, she should protect him,' Kris says with a taunting smile.
'Run,' I whisper to Lay, 'just run. Don't look behind, I'll be fine. I promise I'll come home.' I see a shudder go through his spine. He nods and starts running towards the house.
'Well, it seems it's only you and us now sweetheart,' Kris says and steps closer. It is only now that he draws a gun and points it at my head. 'You're done honey.'
