'Is everyone here?' I ask the group as we are gathered close to the blokkade that is the border to Seoul. No one says no, so I guess that means we are all here. 'Okay, we all know what to do. Remember!'
'WE ARE NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!' we cheer together.
'MASKS ON!' I yell out and run to Yixing. I kiss his lips one last time before the battle. When I want to put my mask on, he pulls me back for another kiss and pushes our foreheads together.
'Be safe,' he asks me, but his eyes beg me.
'I will.'  We both put our gas masks on and get ready for the attack. There are three cars and the others will walk to the blokkade. This time, we are going to get our freedom back.

-------------------

The battle is going on in all it's glory. There are dead soldiers laying on the ground, our people are wounded, a minority, but still fighting and winning. That is until:
'KRIS!' we hear someone yell. It distracts all of us for a second. We see Tao leaned over a body. 'SOMEONE HELP ME!' he cries out. We all regain ourselves with Tao's cries for help that cut into you like a sharp blade. It hurts, but we can't help. We have lost a brother, but we can't stop now.
When I look into their direction again, I see Luhan running to the cars with Tao on his back. Tao isn't moving. Then I see Minseok follow him with Kris on his back.
A loud scream gets my attention. The whole army pulled out and my friends are being forced back and are being taken. Despair runs through my body when I see our group getting smaller and smaller. I try to force the soldiers back with all that I have. Earth walls, frozen grounds, I even flick some into their own blokkade, probably killing them. They keep pushing through and I feel my body giving in slowly. Very slowly. Slow enough to make me suffer. It is only a good ten minutes until I am fighting on my own. They took more than twenty people with the 7th sense in ten minutes. How?
How?
How did this happen?
How did I let this happen?
What do I do now?
Should I run?
Should I hide?
Should I stay?
My legs start feeling weaker and weaker. My decision is made. I fall onto my knees with my hands in the air.
'I WANT TO MAKE A DEAL!' I yell to the groups in front of me.
'STATE YOUR PROPOSAL!' I hear from the top of the blokkade. There he is. The leader of the army.
'I WILL COME WITH YOU, LET YOU DO WHATEVER TESTS YOU WANT ON ME, I'LL DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, IF YOU LET MY FRIENDS GO! ALL OF THEM! AND PROMISE TO LEAVE THEM ALONE!'
'DEAL!'
That was too easy. Oh no, I gave them what they wanted.
This is bad, this is very bad. My friends are being forced out while one soldier takes me. Until my eyes lock with a certain someone. Someone I can't just let go like this. Within seconds, tears stream down my face. I turn to the man holding my arm.
'Please let me have ten minutes with my friends. Please, please, I might never see them again.'
'Let her,' I hear from behind me. There he is. The big man. The one who said people with the 7th sense are dangerous, inhumane, and should die right where they stand. That's a face I will never, ever, forget.
'Thank you,' I say and run to them.
'WE'LL KILL YOU ALL IF YOU RUN AWAY!' he yells after me. Yixing is the one to run towards me. He wraps me in his arms.
'Why did you do that?' he asks desperately. He is crying.
'It's me they want, not you guys. So please, please don't make this harder for me,' I beg him. He lets go of me. I run to Minseok and pull him towards Yixing. Without explaining, I go onto my knee and grab Yixing's hand.
'Marry me?' I ask him. He manages to push a smile through his tears.
'Yes.' He pulls me back onto my feet and into a sweet kiss.
'Minseok, marry us,' I demand him, but there is something vulnerable in my eyes. Minseok nods and the whole group gathers around us. We hold each others hands as Minseok starts speaking.
'Pink Jihye-Mali, do you take Zhang Yixing as your wedded husband, through good and bad, through illness and health, till death do you apart?'
'I do.'
'Zhang Yixing, do you take Pink Jihye-Mali as your wedded wife, through good and bad, through illness and health, till death do you apart?'
'I do.'
'Then I may now declare you husband and wife.' We pull into an embrace and stay like that for as long as we can. The group stands around us, watching us with pain in their hearts. First we had everything, we almost won the war, but now we have nothing. We have to start again at square one.
Suddenly there are hands grabbing my arms. A group of soldiers starts pushing my friends back.
'NO!' I cry out. Yixing tries to push through the soldiers, but they won't budge. He cries out many, many thing. He yells, he screams, he curses. All our emotions are on the loose.  We try to reach out for each other, but it's no use. Someone throws me over their shoulder and there is nothing left I can do to reach Yixing. Tears stream down my face as I realize something.

This is the end.

I might never see him again.

This is really the end.
