Authors Note:Okay so this is the first time that I'm writing a book on wattpad. Please comment and let me know what you think about it.
If you do not like the story, that's not a problem, everybody has a preference however please don't be rude about it... I appreciate constructive criticism thank you.I was awake, I am always awake an hour prior to the usual waking hours. It was a routine that I followed everyday for the past 10 years.
I woke ahead of everyone and just sat there staring, thinking of nothing in particular but everything at once.I heard the toll of the bell alerting all that it was the start of a new day and classes would start within 45 minutes
I also knew what would come after the bell. A voice sending us the same message it did for years: " All trainees report for breakfast and then attend classes" The message was repeated twice.
I glanced around the space that has been my room since forever. Nothing much changed in it. Just a bigger bed and a study table that had become a necessity to years ago.
I got up and headed for the showers. My roommate Chloe as usual was still not up. I had to pass her room to get to the showers. I did the routine knock on her door to let her know it was time for breakfast.
I didn't stop to see whether she was up. I never did. I showered and got out wrapping myself in a towel. As i was about to leave the bathroom, I caught my reflection in the mirror.
I walked towards it trying to get a close up before I left for breakfast.
Looking in the mirror I saw greyish hazel eyes that were set on a oval face, a straight nose that sat atop of my thin lips, my eyebrows were bushy giving me an uptight look. I was pretty but fierce. My eyes drifted to my hair, I considered them my best asset. Thick deep black hair flowed past my waist, I didn't have the guts to cut it so I just let it grow. My hair was a great contrast against my skin. My skin was a death like pale, quite frightening but beautiful.
I was short, very short for one of the most feared assassins. I stood at five feet with a curvy figure. On all my previous assignments I used my body as a disguise, which always played in my favor
I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knocking on the door:
"I'm coming!", I called out to chloe. I quickly gathered my things and came out to a sleepy looking roommate:
"Good morning " Chloe greeted me with a slight smile.
"Morning" I replied in a blank voiceI did not have friends, I tried not to make any. In my line of work friends were a liability, and I could not afford one. It was just too risky and it was better this way.
I walked away from her before she could come up with a conversation. God knows I wasn't in the mood for talking. And I had to go get ready for classes.
Our dorm was made so that two persons could live in the same suite and have their privacy. Two separate rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and living room area. Not that I used it, Chloe normally did when she had our fellow trainees over for study groups.
I preferred my own company.I got dressed in the uniform that was supposed to be worn by the seniors of the Camp Savanna Training Academy
Every year group wore a different uniform. My group wore a full body suit that was specially designed to withstand heat and cold. It was also flexible so that fighting would be easier to accomplish. After I was in my uniform I pulled my long hair into a pony tail and took one final look in my mirror. I walked away grabbed my bag and made my way to the cafeteria.
