On my way to the cafeteria I heard the bell telling us we had 20 minutes left for breakfast.  I quickened my pace knowing that tardiness was not tolerated and the punishment was severe.

As I was passing I spotted my classmates along with various other year groups making their way to breakfast. Looking at them, you could hardly tell that these were trained assassins that had been taught to kill with just their bare hands.

We were very unique in that we had surgical procedures done to our bodies. They added metal to our skeletal systems that made it impossible for us to be beaten. We were not ordinary assassins

I was strong enough to lift a bus or a van. We had advantages so that none of our assignments stood a chance. We were thoroughly trained, however our training wasn't pretty.

There were over a thousand trainees of different ages, sizes, groups. Our motto was "No Mercy" and it was written on the entrance of every dorm classroom and training facilities. Mercy was a luxury we couldn't afford.

Entering the cafeteria, I made my way to the line that was beginning to form with trainees waiting for food. As I got to the top of the line I noticed that Chloe had just arrived with her friends. I tried not let her see me, my usual routine even though I failed sometimes.

Not that I wanted to be rude she was a nice bubbly thing. The academy did not break her spirit like many of us.
She was taller than me but not by much, short blonde hair with a slim figure. With green eyes and plump lips she could be considered a beauty. However as I said before friends and I don't get along and I love it that way.

I collected my breakfast and made my way to the usual table that I have all my meals.  I sit and started eating while  watching everyone in the room. Some laughing and talking, others reading and some just hurrying to get to class on time.

While eating I saw Austin, he was a senior like me. He was watching me. I was used to it though, my body's shape always drew people's attention.
He continued looking but I ignored him.  I got up and made my way to class.

As I was walking I could here Austin calling me but I pretended not to hear and kept walking, well that was the plan. The 6 ft 1, blue eyed boy caught up to me and hauled me to a stop.
"What do you want Austin?" I asked in an annoyed voice .
"Don't flatter yourself Raven. I just wanted to hand you your assignment that Headmaster Lion sent for you" he replied in a disgusted manner.

I rolled my eyes: "Well, where is it? "
He threw the the parcel at me and  as I took it out and began reading he said: "Both of us are taking on this assignment Raven,  it's in England and we need to report for Headmaster Lion's office today after Tactics class for the instructions."

I didn't acknowledge him I just started walking to class.
