On the plane we found the perfect bed and it will be delivered to the store and ready when we get home. After the plane ride we got to the RV and put Landon to bed since it was late. "Is it a little soon to start getting ready for the babies?" Erik asked me. "Yes, its too soon to get things for them, at four or five months we can start getting things." I replied. "When did you start getting things for him?" Erik asked talking about Landon. "I was five months along and my aunt told me to start getting ready for baby Landon." I replied. "Where is all of his things?" He asked. "Well the furniture was sold and the clothes but I have all his bottles and that such in my room at my aunt Franny's." I replied.
"Ok, so can we go get the things when we get back?" He asked. "Of course, she's been asking when I'm getting my things." I replied. "What are you doing about getting around?" Erik then asked. "I'll need to find a new car I guess." I replied. "With what money?" He asked. "I don't know." I replied. "And the medical bills." He said. "Erik I don't know, just let me focus on Landon and the twins, I'll talk to my uncle when we get home." I snapped at him. I looked surprised at what I said and Erik looked at me. "I'm sorry, I just, I don't know." He said before going to the bedroom. "Erik." I called as he was walking back but he didn't turn around.
I sat there until I heard the door close and then got up and went to go talk to him. "Erik, I'm sorry." I said carefully. "I'm sorry I'm just kind of stressed." He replied. "Then talk to me about whats on your mind Erik, communicate with me." I said sitting on the bed and taking his hand. "It's just half the time we end up fighting." He replied. "That's true, maybe we should talk to someone finuge out how to communicate." I said. "Yeah, we can find someone when we get home." He replied. "What if we can't fix it and break up?" I asked quietly. "Then we will find a way to communicate for the children's sake, if we work better by being apart and co parenting then that's what we need to do." He replied pulling me close to him.
"But I love you." I said resting my head against him. "And I love you." He replied. "I guess sometimes love doesn't mean two people should have a family together." I whispered. "That's not the case with us, we just need to learn how to communicate better so we don't fight all the time." He told me. "Yeah." I said smiling. "Now, I don't need you to stress about things." He told me sternly. "Yeah I know, I need these babies to be ok." I replied smiling. "Everyone needs these babies to be ok." He replied laying down with me. "This is how we should be communicating all the time." I said. "Yeah nice calm not mad or yelling." He replied. "Goodnight." I then said before closing my eyes.
"Goodnight Zo." He said before I slowly fell into a deep sleep. The next morning I woke up with Erik surprisingly still sleeping so I got up and went to go check on Landon. "Hey Landon do you want something to eat?" I asked noticing he was awake. "Yeah." He replied before I picked him up and we went to get food. "When will babies be here?" Landon asked me while we were eating. "Not for eight months, they have to grow inside me before they can get here." I told him. "Why?" He asked. "Because me and daddy created them." I told him. "Why?" He asked and I didn't know how to answer that. "Uh, because we love each other and one night we decided to show each other how much we love each other." I answered hoping there would be no more questions, I don't need that talk right now while he's almost two.
"Ok." He replied thankfully dropping the baby subject. "Is daddy going to win the race this weekend?" I asked Landon. "Yes daddy win." He replied smiling and Erik finally woke up and walked into the kitchen. "You hear that babe, Lan says you're going to win this race." I said kissing him. "Yeah win win win." Landon replied smiling at us. "Let's get you ready for today." I said picking him up and taking him to his room. After all practices were done Erik and I decided to walk around the track with Landon and talk while he waddled around in front of us. "I have a really random question for you." He said taking my hand in his.
"Alright go." I replied intertwining our fingers. "If I were to propose to you would you want Landon there too?" He asked. "Uh, I've never thought of that." I replied. "Well I just wanted to know your thoughts on having him do something with the proposal. "I think a proposal should be between two people, and not have children involved." I told him. "Alright thanks." He replied kissing me. "No problem." I replied confused. After our walk we went back to the RV and did whatever. The next day we watched Erik qualify and that night we decided to watch John Hunter race. After the race we went out to eat then went back to the RV and fell asleep.
"Baby it's race day." Erik said lightly shaking me. "I'm up Erik." I said rolling onto my stomach. "No you're not." He replied sitting on the bed. I then finally got up. "I am now." I told him. "I have stuff to do, can I take Landon with me?" Erik asked. "Of course you can, I don't feel that well right now." I replied and then he kissed me then left the room. A few minutes later I heard little feet running to my room. "Mommy we leaving." Landon said. "Alright have fun be good, I'll see you when you get back." I said kissing his head. "Ok mommy." He said before running to the door. The door then opened and closed and I knew they left.
