Gender reveal and Names Chapter 53

"Baby one is a girl and baby two is also a girl." She told us. "Baby sisters Landon." I said when he looked at me. "No boys?" He asked looking sad. "No just girls, but when they are old enough they will play anything with their big brother." I told him. "But no boys." He said. "Hey, that means you and me can go and race go karts and fish together just you and me." Erik told Landon. "Ok." He replied smiling. She gave us some pictures and I made my next appointment before we left. "Want to go tell Joe Andrea JH and the girls what genders I'm having?" I asked Landon. "Yeah." He replied. "Erik is it ok?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied before he turned towards their house.

"Hey Carol, is Lindsay with you?" I asked after she picked up the phone. "Yeah why?" She asked. "We know the genders." I replied. "Oh Lindsay come here." She called. "Yeah?" Lindsay asked. "Zoey and Erik know the genders." She said. "What, Zoey tell us." She said. "Landon wants to tell you." I said handing my phone to him. "Girls." He said. "Mommy's having twin girls?" Carol asked. "Yeah." He said happily. "He asked 'no boys' and looked sad when he was first told, but Erik's a good father told him he could do things just them and he's happy again." I told them. "That's Erik for you." Lindsay said and I smiled. "Alright well we are at Andrea's house, I just thought you wanted to know what colours to buy, Landon say bye to grandma and aunt Lindsay." I said. "Bye grandma bye aunt Lindsay." He said before giving me the phone.

"You just got done with the appointment." Andrea said before gathering everyone. "Yeah and Landon wants to tell you what his siblings are going to be." I told her. "Sisters." He called out while giggling and clapping his hands. "Twin girls like Wendy and Vince." Joe said. "Yeah just like their family." I replied. "Now you can start talking about names." Joe said. "Yeah, their full names, I was thinking of having the wedding in October or November or early the year after." I said. "We can talk about everything." Erik said before we said bye and we went home. When we got home I put Landon to bed then went to talk to Erik.

"I love the name Teanna, I'm not so sure about Rylea anymore." He said. "Rosealind." I suggested. "What?" He asked. "Free spirit/beautiful mind and beautiful rose." I told him. "Rosealind." He repeated. "Our daughters Teanna and Rosealind." I told him. "I love the names." He said kissing me. "Hi Teanna hi Rosealind." He then said to the girls while rubbing my stomach. "Can't wait until five months." I said. "Why?" He asked. "They will start kicking." I told him. "Hmmm, feeling my girls kicking sounds nice now I can't wait." He said kissing me. "So what about the wedding?" I asked. "When do you want it?" He asked.

"A weekend you have off, oh no, we need to do that after Landon's third birthday." I said. "In December, yes." He replied. "I'm tired but I want ice cream." I said. "Alright we can eat ice cream in bed then you can go to sleep." He replied. "Good plan." I said and we got ice cream then went to the bed. "Landon's birthday is so close to Christmas." Erik said while I was eating ice cream. "Yeah, he was my early Christmas present." I told him. "You're welcome for your early Christmas present." He said and I kissed him. "He was right on time." I told him. "Landon being born?" He asked. "Yeah hopefully these two are on time too." I said before handing him my bowl and getting comfy.

*Erik's P.O.V.*

After I put Zoey's ice cream bowl in the dishwasher I went back to the bedroom and Zoey was asleep so I got back into bed and cuddled with her before falling asleep. I woke up with Landon laying on one side of me and Zoey on the other side of me. "Daddy you awake?" I heard a little voice ask me. "Yes I am Landon." I replied. "Mommy awake?" He asked. "No mommy is asleep still." I replied. "Oh ok." He replied. "Landon?" I asked. "Yes daddy?" He questioned. "How do you feel about your sisters?" I asked him. "I want meet them." He replied. "We have to wait to meet them they are still growing in mommy." I told him. "When?" He asked. "In June." I replied. "Thats far." He said. "I know Lan but it's what we have to do." I replied. "What are you doing?" Zoey asked. "Talking to Landon." I replied.

Zoey sat up and Landon moved in between us to sit beside her. "You know Landon things are going to be different when the twins come." She told him softly. "Yeah." He replied. "Mommy and daddy may both need to take care of them because theres two of them and one of me." She then said. "But you still love me?" He asked. "Of course will we still love you." She replied. "Ok." He said. "I just want you to know that we love you very much but the twins are a lot of work because they will be very small." She told him. "They can't play for a while." He said. "No they can't." She replied. "Do you want to know your sister's names?" I then asked Landon. "Yeah." He replied.

*Zoey's P.O.V.*

"Do you want to know your sister's names?" Erik then asked Landon. "Yeah." He replied to Erik. "They will be Teanna Jones and Rosealind Jones." Erik said. "Teanna and Rosealind Jones." I then said. "Te-a and Ro." Landon then said. "Are you goig to call them Te-a and Ro?" Erik asked. "Yeah." He replied. We went about finishing up moving things into our new apartment the next two days so we were finally all moved in. "Zoey." I heard from the living room. "Yes?" I answered from Landon's bedroom. "Where are you?" JH asked. "Landon's room." I replied. "Hey, have you two figured out their names?" He asked. "Teanna which means free spirit/beautiful mind and Rosealind which means beautiful rose." I told him. "They are beautiful names." He said. "Yeah, these two are going to be beautiful and they have an older brother who will help protect them." I said. "Yeah, I can't wait to have my own family, when I'm older." He said. "It's not my fault I ended up with Landon as a teenager but I'm happy I had him, he's giving me so much in the limited anount of time I've had with him so far, I'm just afraid." I told him. "Of what?" He asked. "What if when I have my last baby, I get sick like my mom." I said. "Then you will hopefully have five or six years with the last one." He replied. "But a single dad to four children, what will Erik do he's a race car driver." I said. "You remember when you were three months pregnant with Landon." He said. "Of course everyone but me knew the gender and everyone kept on having to make sure they didn't tell me the gender." I replied.

"John Hunter." I called from my bed. "Yeah Zoe?" He questioned. "My baby, what will happen if I end up like my mom?" I asked him. "You have Joe Andrea and Franny to take care of the baby." He replied. "But my baby will never know me." I said. "We will all tell your baby stories about you like my parents and grandma tell you stories about uncle John." JH replied. "Yeah ok, but I don't want to leave baby, baby is the only part of Erik I have." I said.

"You'll always have this problem." He told me. "Yeah I know." I replied and he hugged me. That night I fell asleep with Erik beside me and Landon in his bed, dreaming of what's to come with my little family.
