Family Chapter 51

After our talk we went to the new apartment and started to get organized and put everything away. Erik and I went to go get Landon after dinner and we went home to put Landon to bed. For the next two weeks we slowly got the new apartment ready for us. The Sunday Erik's mom and sister came down Erik got Landon situated into his new room. "How are the babies?" Carol asked at dinner that night. "They are good but I still have concerns over Landon when they come." I replied. "That's how I was with these two, if Landon's anything like his dad you don't have to worry." She replied. "Yeah but if he's anything like me with that I wasn't really jealous of John Hunter, but i was with Blair and Kennedy, I was very jealous." I told her. "We will only tell when they come." She said and we started to talk about other things.

"We get to find out the genders on the seventeenth and his birthday which is just going to be a dinner that night with our closest family will be on his birthday and then the next day is his party with everyone so you get to meet my moms side of the family." I told him. "That will be interesting." Erik said. "It will be interesting indeed." I said. The day of Landon's birthday we spent the day with him doing whatever he wanted which consisted of us going to the go kart track to race, Erik and Landon vs me and a few other racers, then we went for lunch and then went to a trampoline park. That night we went to some restaurant with Erik's mom and sister and my aunt, uncle and cousins.

"Well hey the twins won't have their birthday around the same time as Landon's." I said when the bill was paid and everyone left. "Yeah thankfully Landon will have a day of just him." I replied looking at the sleeping boy. "Are you ready for meeting my family tomorrow?" I asked. "Yeah, where is the party?" Erik asked. "Joe and Andrea's backyard, it's the only place big enough for my moms side of the family that's free." I told him. "Oh boy this will be interesting." He replied. We fell asleep after talking for a while then woke up and got ready for the day. "Did you get him presents?" Erik asked. "Of course they are at Joe's already." I told him. "Alright, you finish eating for you three and I'll get Landon up." Erik then said. When I was done I picked out Landon's outfit the Erik got him ready and I got him breakfast.

When everyone was ready including Carol and Lindsey we left for Joe and Andrea's house. We got there and it was just our families until the rest of mine got there and Maddie and Ali plus Daniel and Gabriel, Brandon Jones and Kyle, Samantha and Brexton. Erik and everyone helped set up the rest of the party. My aunt Franny came after the party was set up and when Landon noticed he was off to see her. "Fany." Landon called hugging her legs. "Hi Landon." She said picking him up. "Happy birthday." She then said and he just smiled at her she then put him down and went to talk to Joe and Andrea before my aunt Lori and uncle Edson showed up.

"Maddie, Ali, Keegan, May." I said noticing them. "We wouldn't miss this for the world." Maddie said. "Kee, May." I heard Landon say and hugged the two other children. We talked and I hugged the two other children and I introduced them to my family who was there then when everyone else gets there I will introduce them to everyone else. Daniel and Gabriel, Brandon Jones and Kyle, Samantha and Brexton all came around the same time so I introduced them all to my family. "Erik come on." I said pulling him to my aunt and uncle when I noticed them walking in.

"Aunt Lori, uncle Edson." I said hugging them both. "Hi Zoey." They said. "This is Landon's father Erik." I told them which caught them off guard. "This is his father?" Aunt Lori asked. "Yes, and the twins father." I replied. "Erik this is my aunt Lori and uncle Edson." I told him. "Hello it's nice to meet you two." Erik said shaking both of their hands then Landon ran over to us. "Landon do you remember great aunt Lori and great uncle Edson?" I asked him and he said no. "Well this is grandma's sister just like Joe and Andrea are great uncle Joe and great aunt Andrea." I told him. "Hi." He said hugging them both. "Hi Landon." They replied.

After introductions they went to put their gifts on the table then found family to talk to, Joe and Andrea had the job of introducing Carol and Lindsay to my family. Just then my cousin Henry came walking into the backyard. "Henry." Landon yelled running to him. "Come on Erik." I said pulling him to Henry. "Henry this is Landon's father Erik, Erik this is my cousin Henry." I said they shook hands then Henry walked into the backyard and found his parents. "The next people would be Wendy her boyfriend and their kids." I told Erik before Wendy walked in with Vince and their kids. "Wendy." I said hugging her when she put down the twins.

"Hi Vince." I said. "Erik this is my cousin Wendy, her boyfriend Vince, their four year old Clarence and their twins Alice and Alexis, everyone this is Landon's father Erik." I introduced them. Landon came up and hugged the twins then Wendy and then Clarence. "You haven't herd the news yet." I then said to Wendy. "What's going on?" She asked. "I'm pregnant with twins, our little family is going to be like your little family." I said and she hugged me. "How far along?" She asked. "Almost three months." I said. "I'm excited for more twins." She told me before Landon Alice and Alexis walked away from us.

"How are you Clarence?" I asked moving to his level. "Good, babies?" He asked pointing to my stomach. "Yeah babies." I replied then went to visit with Wendy's parents while my last aunt and uncle came in with my second cousin Louis. "Erik, Cassie and Lori are twins." I whispered to him. "Cassie, Ethan this is Erik Landon's father." I told them. "Erik, it's nice to finally meet you." Ethan said. "It's nice to meet you too and everyone on Zoey's mother's side." Erik replied shaking his hand. "Louis is my second cousin, my cousin Noah's son he's a year older that Landon." I told Erik. As Noah and Jennifer walked into the backyard with a car seat.

"And talk about Noah and Jennifer." I said hugging them then taking Katie their daughter out of the car seat. "This is Erik, Landon's father." I told them. Jennifer gave me Katie to hold. They said hi then I gave Katie to Erik. "This is Louis's little sister, most of my family have boys first then girls and you can tell." I told him I still think it's weird because I'm not a boy. Erik handed me back Katie and we all went to the rest of the family. "Landon, come here." I called. "Yes mommy?" He asked. "Do you remember Jennifer was pregnant?" I asked him. "Yeah Katie." He said. "Yes well this is baby Katie, when mommy's babies come they will be this small for a while maybe not this small but they won't be able to play for a while." I told him.
