Starting The Move Chapter 44

I finally got into the car after Erik assured me that everything would be ok. After we finally got to the apartment Erik picked up Landon and took my hand to bring us to the new apartment. "We got this pretty fast so I haven't seen it either." Erik said leading us upstairs. "Question about this apartment how do you expect me to bring the twins downstairs?" I asked. "We will find a way before they come." He replied. "Alright I trust you." I replied as we went the rest of the way to the new apartment. We got the the door and Erik put Landon down. "Welcome to our new home." Erik said opening the door. "I like it a lot." I said walking inside. "This is ours?" Landon asked. "This is ours." I replied smiling. "Let's go pick out your room." I said picking him up. "Ok." He replied and we went to the two smaller rooms.

"This one." Lan said when we stepped into the second room, it was a tad bit smaller than the room in the other apartment and the same size as the other room. "You want this one?" I asked him. "Ya this one." He replied smiling. "Alright you can have this one." I said and we went back to our other apartment. "When can we start moving things?" I asked. "Whenever, she said since all we are doing is moving apartments we don't have to worry although our rent may go up a little bit." He replied. "We need boxes then and have my family help us." I said on our way to the apartment Erik had before all of this. "I'll get boxes you call your uncle." He replied as we got inside the apartment. "Alright sounds good." I said. After having family cuddles for the rest of the day I put Landon to bed then went back to sit with Erik. "I get you all to myself until the morning." Erik said bringing me closer to him. "I know babe I know." I replied smiling we cuddled for the rest of the night until I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning in bed and smiled because I actually was home again. "This is nice being wrapped in your arms." I said noticing Erik was awake. "Wait were you watching me sleep?" I asked him. "Yeah, kind of I'm just so happy you're home." He replied kissing my forehead. "Is Landon awake?" I asked. "Not yet, but he will be soon." Erik replied kissing me. "Go get boxes lots and lots of boxes I'll call my uncle and have them come help us tonight." I said as he got out of bed. "Alright, I will." He replied changing. "What no warning?" I joked watching him. "Nope just enjoy the show." He replied.

Landon started to make noise to get out of his room so I went to go get him. "Hey Lan what's going on?" I asked him. "I'm hungry." He said. "Alright, we can fix that." I replied picking him up and taking him to the kitchen where I made breakfast. After breakfast Erik was off to the shop which left me and Landon to start cleaning the apartment and putting things into piles to be packed. Ok Lan, can we get all of your toys into a nice big pile?" I asked him. "Why?" He asked. "Because we need to put them all in boxes so we can go to our other apartment and live there." I told him. "We moving again?" He asked. "Yes we are moving again." I replied. "Is daddy coming with us?" He asked scared. "Of course, he would never leave us and I would never leave daddy or you." I reassured him. After that we started finding his toys and putting them in the middle of the room. We decided to keep a few of his toys then went to watch TV.

"Landon do you want to go to daycare?" I asked him while we were playing. "No." He replied. "Do you want to go to a play group?" I asked him. "No." He said. "If you go to a play group you can meet other little boys and play with them and not just me, daddy, JH, Blair, Kennedy, aunt Lindsey, grandma Jones or great uncle Joe and great aunt Andrea." I told him. "Ok play group." He then said. "Next week we will start going." I told him. Later that day Erik cane back with boxes while my uncle and cousin came with tools. "Alright, so Landon needs a new bed, I'm going to go out with him to get him a bed you guys get all of his toys to the new apartment and our bed." I told them putting my hand out for John Hunter's keys. "Alright babe, go get Landon a cool looking bed." Erik said before I got Landon ready and we went to go look at beds.

"What one do you want Lan?" I asked as we were looking at beds for him. "This one." He said pointing to a nice bed. "Alright we can get it." I said before buying it for him. We got some other things for his room and went back to the apartment. "Hey you guys need to bring his new things to the new apartment, I can't lift things." I said walking into Landon's room. "Alright babe, we got it you can just pack everything you can lift into boxes." Erik replied as Erik, Joe and JH went to go move the things I bought. "Landon let's pack." I said bringing him to his room. We packed everything into boxes and then went to the kitchen and started packing while Landon went to play in the hallway where I could see him.

After my uncle, cousin and Erik came back they started taking things to our other apartment while I put everything into boxes and JH decided to play with Landon. "Why don't aunt Andrea and the girls come and help us." I said to JH. "Yeah let me call my mom." JH replied before calling her. A little while later Andrea Blair and Kennedy came and the girls played with Landon while Andrea and I packed up and the boys moved everything from this apartment to the other one. "Hey Erik." I said when the guys came back into the apartment. "Yeah?" He asked. "What are we doing about our bed?" I asked. "I don't know." He replied. "That helps." I then said shaking my head. "We could get a new bed, sell the one we have." He said. "Yeah sure we can go some time soon." I replied.
