"why are you not ready, dad?" he leans his head back to look at me before smiling. "come on, lazy, we have to get to the high school."

he laughs as he stands up and stretches. "my daughter excited to go to school? i never thought this would happen."

i roll my eyes as i grab my phone and his car keys. "neither did i."

he grabs a few things before shutting the front door. we slip inside the car and he puts he key in the ignition before turning it as the car turns on. he backs out of he driveway and the drive to school starts with me plugging in the auxiliary cord into my phone. we shout the lyrics to sit still, look pretty before stop as the car stops in the parking lot. i wait for him at the office doors as he walks so slowly towards me. i hold the door open for him, and he thanks me, before we walk towards his office.

"hana, can you go deliver this to mrs. johnson's room?"

i grab the bag and note from the secretary before walking out of the office and to the stairs. i stop halfway, since i'm out of shape, before walking up the next flight of stairs. when i walk into my old English teacher's classroom almost everyone screams and runs to hug me. i laugh before getting myself away from the group long enough to give mrs. johnson her bag and note. before i leave, a puppy comes running at me and i'm awe as i bend down and cuddle the little puppy close to me. a figure appears in front of me and i look up at a smiling derek. i smile back at him before hugging the loving hell out of him, and then i grab the puppy and hold 'em. i kiss the puppy on its nose, and it licks my mouth, before a poster appears in derek's arms.

You're the only one I want to follow around like a lost puppy. Prom? Yes ◽️ No ◽️ ?

i nod my head excitedly as i hug him again. "is that a yes?"

i nod again before letting the puppy down and kissing derek on the cheek. we let go of each other after a few seconds. "what's its name?"

"his name is whatever you want it to be."

i nod and say, "max will do."

so guys how are ya? so apparently today someone was going to ask me to prom, but then school got cancelled so it didn't happen, and now it's going to happen Monday... what should I expect? Idk who's asking btw if you're reading this. 1/13/17
