i roll my eyes at maya's comment as we watch the super bowl game. "i just want to watch the commercials and halftime show," jess says from next to me and i agree.
"they're not gonna make anything before halftime."
"jess," maya says and looks over at jess, "you can shut up now."
"oh, don't be a sore loser, maya."
i lay my head on jess's legs and place my legs on top of calum's. my eyes train carefully on the football game happening in front of me as many of the people on the room cheer for whichever team they want to win.
