Harry's point of view...
Thursday, January 9, 9:42PM
The club was full when we got there. So we decided to go somewhere else. We got onto another cab to the record label I was contracted on. When we got there I unlocked the doors of the recording studio. I pulled Vanessa to my side and stared into her brown eyes. I placed my hands on her back and led her towards the leather chair.
"Sit, you have to listen to the new album!" I told her as I touched the buttons to turn on the music apparatus.
The sound of the first song played. It made you feel like you rode down downtown through a sunset in the summer. The electric guitar was strummed in the background as Zayn's voice sang "Na Na Na..."
I stared at her once more and gave her some headphones for her to listen to the rhythm closely. She nodded like when she was working on the DJ apparatus earlier today. Her fingers drummed on the edge of the armrest of the chair. As I stood there examining her, she had her eyes closed as if wanting to make sure she had all the details to the song.
After the last song played Vanessa still had her eyes closed. I was starting to worry that she fell asleep through the whole album. But as I was going to place my hands on her shoulders, she started to switch some buttons on and lower things on the recording apparatuses. My eyes widened because I had no idea what she was doing. But I knew she had talent and skill because of her performance today. Then from her black bag she pulled out a USB and plugged it into the computer. She did some more changes with the buttons.
Afterwards she glanced at me and said, "Ready?"
"Yeah!" I had to listen to more.
Soft, whistle-like sounds transmitted through the speakers in the recording room. Then Lesley's voice danced along with the drums. The piano was played slowly but it seemed to be at a difficult technique to be playing.
When I glanced back at Vanessa, she was beaming at me. Then the sound of rain crashed with Stephanie's high vocals boomed. This song could be amazingly combined with a Transformers and James Bond movie.
"Wow! That's breathtaking!" I said to her.
"Thanks! This song is part of the album we sold today at the auction. The only one album that exists so far..." She pulled out her flash drive and shut down the computer along with the other recording apparatuses.
"C'mon! It's getting late..." Vanessa pulled my hands out of the recording studio.
"Okay!" I said exaggeratedly. "I have one of my cars parked here, so we can go to your place..."
"No, let's go someone else," she replied.
"Oh there is another club that I know," I suggested.
"Yeah, let's go there!"
The club was just down five streets from the recording studio. I removed my jacket and sprinted down towards the building. When I was going to enter the club, I noticed she didn't followed me. She was still in my black Range Rover, apparently changing out her red dress. I couldn't say anything else about it because the windows are tinted black. I couldn't cope the cold so I decided to head back to the car and knocked on the glass. When I turned to glance at her she had opened the door instantly. She has on tight black jeans that accentuated her curvy body. She wore a nice purple top.
This time I was the one who held her hands and we sprinted down towards the building. I pulled the door open and the music came out like like in the recording studio.
"Oh, this song is good," I tried telling her but the music was loud.
I grabbed her waist and drove our bodies with the rest of the dancing bodies. The lights glinted the crowd, which reminded me of swimming underwater and seeing the rays of sun. I moved my hips and tried to get into the rhythm. But I knew I had failed when I glanced at Vanessa trying to hide the smile. Was I a bad dancer or was she having fun?
As I continued to move with the rhythm, I noticed that Vanessa swayed her hips in a tender way but there was definitely a hot touch as she moved. Then a new song came up with constant beat drops. I nodded my head. I have been dancing too much... I thought. Then I remembered that I was dancing with someone I had just met less than a week ago. Is this natural? I wondered. But yet again this is how you make friends and...
I moved my hands onto her waist and continued to dance to the music, this time to Daft Punk. She faced me and moved her fingers on my hair, playing with my curls. The strobe lights hinted on her eyes and down her long brown hair. I bit my lip just remembering the last time I had kissed her. I just want to spend as much time with her as possible. Our eyes met, our stare remained throughout so many songs that I couldn't remember the number.
She pulled her fingers from my hair, and I almost groaned in discontent. She pulled my hands towards the bar and ordered a few drinks for us. I kept glancing back at her, wondering what she was thinking about. The drinks that she ordered were shots. I grabbed mine and took a fast swing at it. It was bitter but it helped settled down my nervous stomach. I settled the little cup down on the table and proceeded into the dance floor. My body moved like waves in the ocean.
Her fingers traced down my jaw, giving the sensation you get when you have a mint, savoring candy in your tongue. Her movements were slow. It was killing me having to wait for her. My heart beats tried to race the thoughts I was having of her. They tried to keep up the pace, but I couldn't help it, and touched my lips keenly onto hers. Vanessa wasn't shocked, on the contrary, her lips persuaded mine to continue.
Her arms pulled my waist to hers. I couldn't stop and I didn't know how many breaths I had to take. Vanessa pulled away and said, "Let's go."
I followed her with the help of the club's lights and managed to drive ourselves to her place.
When we got to her house, she opened the black wooden door. We stepped inside and it seemed that no one was at home. The hallway was not long and ended up in the living room, where Niall and Lesley were.
I greeted them, "Hey mates! How's your night?" I questioned them.
"Nothing we were just reading and dancing," Niall responded, while not trying to make eye contact with any of us, except for the blue mug on the coffee table. The aroma reminded me of green tea.
"Well I will be back," said Vanessa. She held my hands and pulled me further into the house. I wanted to say bye but I had to focus climbing the up the oak stairs.
We made it into a green room. I noticed that the bed was queen sized. I also noticed the posters she had on her walls. Some were of us and some other celebrities that I couldn't think of their name. I was sleepy and ready to drop dead on her bed.
Vanessa pulled out her pajamas and I got undressed. I stepped into the covers and closed my eyes. But I couldn't fall asleep without her body next to mine. She seemed to have noticed this and got in right after.
"Night, Harry..." she whispered into my ears.
It felt like electricity was running through my veins. I remembered her voice as if it was a lullaby.
"Dream lovely," I had to think about it for a moment, "sweetheart."
The sun rays descended upon us as we swam in the blue ocean of my dreams.
