Chapter 10

A/N Sorry that I've taken forever to update, I have another account on here and I got busy writting on there so I'll try going between the two. I also have been busy with school and clubs that take up all my time lately. 

I have read all of your comments and I appreciate them, and I would like for you all to know that some things in this story are not accurate but it's a story so please just go with it.

Luke's POV

I thought her face looked familiar before but I couldn't put my finger on it. After she told us everything that happened to her mom, especially only being here for a day. She trusts us so easily and quickly, I probably wouldn't be able to do that.

I hope that we get put on the same team, it would be nice to get some tips from her while riding and possibly help me get closer to her. I mean, she's beautiful and when we bumped into each other earlier she took my breath away. I think I might have a crush on her.

Luna's POV

I caught Luke staring at me and he looked away when his eyes caught mine. I smiled and looked down, my cheeks had a faint burning feeling. 

"We should get going considering that we have classes tomorrow." Greg said and we all stood up. We walked out of the shopp and said our good byes and headed towards our dorms.

"I saw Luke staring at you all throughout dinner." Lauren said and I looked away.

"I caught him looking." I smiled my cheeks growing pink.

"I think he likes you." I stopped in my tracks and she turned around.

"Or he is just trying to feel bad for me because of what I just told him." I started walking again and then sighed. "But if you're telling the truth and he really does like me, then he'll be the first." she looked at me with a raised eyebrow. 

"The first?" I nodded and she shook her head. "But you're gorgeous, there has to be some guys in your life." 

"Nope, just my dad, uncle and my cousin Marcus." I looked down at my feet. "I haven't even had my first kiss." 

"So Luke would be your first kiss and boyfriend. I wish my first was with someone that cute." she huffed. I giggled and opened our dorm room.

"Oh come on," I motioned for her to walk through the door and she did with a fake pout on her face. I was about to walk through the door when my phone started to ring. My aunt's name popped up on the screen and I pressed the answer button.

"Hi Luna, how have you been?" her voice came through the speaker and and big smile made its way on my face.

"Good, I made some friends." I heard her gasp and I shook my head. 

"Are there any cute boys?" I bit my lip and thought about Luke. I didn't know if I should tell her that I had a crush or not. 

"There's this one, but I'm not giving you anything else." she sighed and I giggled.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you something about Marcus after his appointment." 

"What is that?"

"There is a problem with his heart, he only has a few months to live." I waited for her to freak out and lash at me for not telling her sooner but she just sighed.

"I can't believe it, it's been so long." her voice was quieter and all the cheeriness was gone.

"What do you mean?"

"Marcus had some complications when he was born, the hole in his heart didn't close all the way so they had to give him heart surgery. They told us that he might have heart problems later on and there weren't any signs of anything for years. Now they show up when everything seemed to be going fine after the accident that  I guess we forgot about the problems we could have with him. Listen Luna, we'll talk later and you're not in trouble for telling us earlier. I love you."  she hung up and I sighed.

"I love you too." I whispered before walking into my dorm.

A/N sorry that it's short, I couldn't think of anything else. The problem with the hole not closing in the heart happened to someone that I know but they don't have any complications with their heart. 

I'll try my best to update when I can and go back and forth with my other account.
