The Forgetful Librarian is the type of reader who adds tons of books to their library/ reading list but never actually reads them. It's not because they're too busy, or because they don't want, they just forget that those books are there. You'll find them scrolling through their library wondering when on earth some of these books got added and, on rare occasions, they may actually start reading one the books.
The common character trait in these people is the fact that they seem to enjoy adding books to their library and will add all kinds of books to fill up that huge space. They lose track of books, forget ones that are already there and try and add them again, and generally, their library could be mistaken for a whole genre due to amount the number of books they have stored away.
Maybe one day they will try and clean out their library, only to find the task too mammoth and give up almost immediately.
