The Cliché Lover is exactly what they sound like (mainly because the title states the bleedin' obvious). This person can be a writer or a reader, but either way they LOVE clichés for reasons some people can't understand. While most people roll their eyes at those damned 'bad boy' stories now, this type of person runs over to them the second they see a book with 'bad boy' in the title.
Maybe they just like the safety of knowing what will happen, or maybe they just really, really like reading books about the bad boy falling for the nerdy girl. It's much easier to spot The Cliché Lover when they're a writer just by looking at the title of their books. There must be quite a wide audience for these books seeing as some have millions of reads (this causes many undiscovered writers to shake their heads in despair).
I'm not claiming to having never read a cliché book, but I don't think I'd ever read one voluntarily again.
