While it seems ridiculous that anyone would fall for The Imaginary Boy, you'd be surprised about how many people believe these catfishes are real. Sometimes you just turn a blind eye to the red flags, especially when the result is pretending that you're talking to a boy who likes one direction fanfics as much as you do.
