I had fun today limping through the mall looking for semi-last minute birthday presents for my mom and semi-failing.
Anyways, I think I've talked about one of my sisters several times on here. You know. The good sister.
But I have another, younger sister who tends to drive me on edge just a little bit.
Don't get me wrong, I get along with her great, but we still fight a lot. And most of those fights have to do with me defending my other sister from her.
Because where Icecream_Puppy is passive, my other sis is aggressive, and I'm all that's in between.
So before heading to the mall today, our dad wanted to stop at Best Buy to look at stuff, and my younger sis was bugging me and the middle sis. At one point, she got mad because our middle sis just started ignoring her, so she began to harass her.
And like any normal adult, I did the most logical thing in this certain situation.
I stared harassing her back.
And by harass, I mean I was just pointing my finger really close to her face while repeating "hey, hey, hey..."
So during all this, our dad is just completely ignoring us and my sister begins to kick me.
See, for some reason, I usually just let her and then leave when she's done (don't ask me why. I just give her a lot of freebies). But today I just decided "Hey, I should probably make her stop now."
Take note that she was wearing shoes, meaning that she could kick me thirty times and it wouldn't tickle her. Meanwhile, I was wearing sandals.
So she finally got tired of kicking me and turned around to go with dad, and I took the opportunity to get her back.
I reeled my foot back and gave her everything I had, and I shit you not at that moment, I saw the Romans hammering the nail into Jesus' feet.
And I broke my big toe.
After taking a moment to catch my breath, I thought to myself: "So I can tell my dad, or I can tough it out like a big girl so we can go to the mall."
So I took a few more minutes to compose myself and decided to act like it never happened. Though on the way to the car, I asked my sister:
Me: Hey, did it hurt when I kicked you?
Her: YES
Me: Good, then it was worth it.
And for the rest of the day at the mall, we were getting along perfectly again, because we're sisters and we love each other. And my dad has not asked once why I'm currently icing my toe.
