"Aria! Wake up! We've got to run some errands! Call Jonah and ask him if he wants to come!" Aria's mom yelled.

Aria jolted awake and turned around. Jonah was still sleeping.

"Jonah! Wake up! My mum is going to come upstairs any moment! Go back home and get ready. We're going out in a bit." Aria whisper-yelled while shaking Jonah awake violently.

Jonah woke up slowly and Aria stared at him. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. He looked so innocent. She looked at him in awe.

"Why in the world are you shaking me?" Jonah asked causing Aria to snap out of her trance.

"Leave Jonah! My mum is going to be here any second now." Aria said, panicking.

"Aria!" Aria's mom yelled walking towards her room.

Jonah rushed out of Aria's house before Aria's mom could see, and Aria went inside her bathroom and started getting ready.

Aria's mom came in and heard the shower running so she went back downstairs.

After a while, Jonah came over and they left to finish their errands. They didn't take so long because Jonah had to go back home early for "a talk" with his parents.

Jonah was kind of worried about what his parents wanted to talk about. He wasn't sure why it was so urgent.

Anyways, Jonah went back home to see his parents sitting at the dining table waiting for him to come back.

"Good Morning Jonah." Both of his parents said at the same time.

"Good Morning. So what did you want to talk about?" Jonah replied with an awkward smile.

"The future. We know you're just settling in, but what do you want to do in the future?" Jonah's dad asked.

"I'm not actually sure. I want to paint. That's all I know." Jonah said.

"Would you like to open your own art gallery or something? Or go attend a program?" Jonah's dad asked.

"I don't want to leave this place. Not now." Jonah replied confidently, remembering his conversation with Aria. He didn't want to leave Aria.

"Why not?" Jonah's mom asked. She clearly knew why, but she didn't agree with his reason.

"I don't know. I just don't want to leave." Jonah lied.

"Let's go over to Aria's and figure this out. Because I know that is what's stopping you from leaving." Jonah's mom said, leaving Jonah speechless.

They went to Aria's house and Aria's mom welcomed them in.

"Hi Jennifer. What's with the sudden visit? Not that I mind" Aria's mom joked, but then she noticed the serious expression on Jonah's mom's face.

"I'm here because I wanted to talk to you about our children's future. There's no point in talking about it separately because our children do everything together anyways." Jonah's mom said.

"Aria come downstairs!" Aria's mom called out, and Aria rushed down, not wanting to be yelled at again.

"What do you want to do in the future Aria?" Aria's mom asked.

"Anything in photography. I should probably look at some programs soon too." Aria said with confidence.

"See Jonah, you should look at some programs too." Jonah's mom said.

"Hey! We should look at programs in the same location, so we can go together! It'll be lots of fun." Aria said excitedly.

"Sure kiddos. That'd be nice. Just let us know whenever you guys get accepted into anything." Jonah's dad said with a smile.

Jonah stayed at Aria's house, while his parents left to do some work at home. Jonah and Aria looked through multiple websites for programs for photography and painting in the same locations.

"I can't believe time goes by so quickly. Just a while back we were just having the time of our lives and now we have to be in that serious mood, so we can know what we want to do in the future." Aria said with a sigh.

"That's just how life works." Jonah replied.

Jonah and Aria found a couple of programs and even applied to them. However, they would have to wait for a while to figure out whether they got accepted or not.

Jonah decided to go home, since it was getting late. He said his goodbyes to Aria's family and walked home slowly. He wasn't really in a great mood.

Once he got home, he went straight to his room and started painting.

He didn't know what he was painting, but he just kept painting and painting, until the sun started to rise again.

Time goes by so quickly.
