"Hey Aria." Jonah said while reaching to scratch his head.
"NO DON'T!"Aria yelled out.
"What?" Jonah asked.
"Don't scratch your head. You'll get paint in your hair." Aria explained.
"Oh duh. I knew that." Jonah replied.
"Are you gonna let me in?" Aria asked.
"Yea. Yea. Come in. Sorry." Jonah blurted out.
"Thanks. Don't say sorry." Aria replied.
"Just come in Aria." Jonah said with a sigh.
Aria walked into Jonah's new house.
It was a beautiful house.
She smiled while setting the apple pie on the kitchen counter.
Jonah was nowhere in sight.
So she just decided to look around the house.
More specifically, she decided to look for Jonah's room.
She walked upstairs, contemplating whether she should be doing this.
'Oh well' She thought.
Finally, she found Jonah's room.
She stared in awe.
She had never seen Jonah's work before, so seeing his half-painted wall was spectacular.
She had recognized what he was painting on his wall.
Starry night by Vincent Van Gogh.
It was magnificent.
"Aria?" Jonah said, startling Aria.
"Jonah! Where did you learn how to paint like this?" Aria asked.
"I learned from my mother" Jonah replied sadly.
"It's exquisite." Aria said, not noticing the hint of sadness in Jonah's voice.
"Do you want to help me finish it?" Jonah asked.
"Me? Jonah, I don't know how to paint. I've never touched a paintbrush." Aria stated.
"Yes, you. You don't need to touch a paintbrush. I paint with my fingers, remember? I won't force you to help me though. You can go back home, if ---" Jonah said before he was cut off by Aria.
"I'll help. Just tell me what to do and I'll try my best." Aria said with a smile on her face.
Jonah and Aria started finishing the painting.
Aria made sure not mess up anything.
A couple of hours later, Aria started to get a little bit bored and tired, so she decided to spice things up a bit.
"Hey Jonah! Look over here." Aria yelled out.
Jonah looked at her unaware of what Aria was going to do.
Then, Aria smeared paint onto Jonah's cheek.
He stared at her.
"What..What in the world Aria? Why'd you do that?" Jonah asked.
He was trying his best to sound mad.
"Oh I'm sorry Jonah. I was trying to make this a bit more fun. I'm really ----" Aria said before she was cut off by Jonah splashing paint onto her clothes.
"That's it Jonah! I'm going to get you! You can't run away from me!" Aria yelled while Jonah started running away.
The Robinsons came back to see Aria and Jonah running around in the backyard.
"Awww true love." Ms. Robinson said.
"I would have to agree. They look so happy." Mr. Robinson said.
"Wow. Who knew that you could be so sappy?" Ms. Robinson said while laughing.
"Ugh. You always get to me. Let's just go back inside and cook something up for the both of them." Mr. Robinson suggested.
Aria and Jonah finally got tired of chasing each other.
Aria decided to lay down on her back, since she was exhausted from all the running.
"Come over here." Aria called out to Jonah.
Jonah laid down next to Aria.
"I didn't know we had been painting for so long" Jonah said while looking at the stars.
It was dark now.
Jonah wondered whether Aria's parents were worried about her.
"Do you want to go eat something?" Jonah asked.
"Yea. Let's go inside." Aria replied.
"Wait! Look there's a shooting star." Aria said.
"Do you believe in shooting stars?" Jonah asked.
"No, but let's just wish for something. There's no harm in trying, right?" Aria replied.
Aria covered their eyes with her hands, and they both wished for something.
