  Nash's POV

I got in bed a couple of minutes ago. I hear Cameron begin to snore. I had a feeling Babe was already asleep but I had hope she wasn't.

“Babe?" I whisper.

She gives me no reply. I sigh of disappointment. Honestly, the end of my day, right before I go to sleep, has become my favorite part of the day.

I don't know why but I just enjoy talking to her so much. She's just interesting to me. I love the way she gets nervous around me, that is when she's not on her period. She thinks that I don't know when she is, but Tasia and Brenna have theirs at the beginning of the month. Right now it's the ending of the month.

I rub my hands on my face of confusion and frustration.

“What are you doing to me?" I ask her even though she can't hear me.

Babe's POV

I wake up to an empty bed, an empty room. I see Cameron's messy bed, as always, he never makes it, and it drives me crazy! I stand and decide to do something about it. I make his bed and Nash's. I pick up all of our clothes off the floor, before I know it I'm cleaning the whole room.

“Woah." I hadn't even noticed Brent come in the room. “My room next?" He teases.

“I have to sleep in this room, my only reason for cleaning. If you want your room clean you must help." I smile, flinging some boxers in the pile of dirty clothes.

He nods and smiles.

“Where is everyone?" I ask.

“Well, Brenna's car is gone, Cameron's car is gone, Brenna and Tasia are gone, and Nash and Cameron are gone. Carter is asleep. And Shawn and Matt are playing video games."

“And you?" I question.

“I, am asking you to help me clean my room." He smiles.

“First, take me to the laundry room." I sigh.

He chuckles a bit, shoveling his hands in his pockets. He moves his head, motioning me to follow. I grab all the clothes and follow him down the stairs. When we make it to the laundry room I was shocked.

“This is the laundry room?!" I gasp. “It could be a freaking bedroom!"

He shrugs. “Maybe we can talk Cam into letting it be one for you… but he probably wouldn't."

“Why?"

“He has this rule where there has to be two boys per room." He answers.

“But the girls only have Shawn." I point out.

“No Carter's bed is in the back corner." He corrects.

“Oh." is all I say.

I really like Brent. He's not like the kids at school, he's not like Henry, he's not like his siblings, he's not like my friends before my dad lost his job, he's like… himself.

“Ugh." I say tugging at my hair a bit after Matt calling Shawn another name for the millionth time of playing that stupid car game.

“What is wrong with you?" Matt chuckles.

“Why are you so mean to each other?" I squeak.

My period is over and my confidence is wearing away.

“We're just joking!" Shawn laughs.

“Would it make you feel better if we played in the other room?" Matt offers.
