I still sit and watch Cameron and Brent come closer and closer to Babe as the seconds pass, I don't know why but I loose it.

“Oh my fucking God!" I yell standing up.

“What's your problem?" Cam says.

I look around at my brothers, sisters and Babe. I haven't had the feeling of embarrassment in years until now.

“Nothing." I scoff. I walk to grab my keys and go where I always go when I get upset like this.

Babe's POV

Everyone is going to bed now including myself. Cameron and I make small talk.

“What do you think was wrong with Nash?" I ask Cam as I unfold the cover.

“Who knows," He takes his shirt off. “He's always mad."

I think to say it probably has something to do with their mother, but I know she is a sensitive subject in this home. I decide to bring it up a bit more loosely.

“Do you think it has something to do with his childhood?"

He shrugs. His body language tells me that he is uncomfortable with talking about this.

“Oh." I nod, not letting the conversation continue.

“Goodnight."

“Goodnight."

I lay in the bed. It's a lot bigger with out Nash. It's really cold too. I honestly feel uncomfortable without him. For years, I have gone to sleep with some sort of sound. I would usually listen to music, I can't go to sleep without sound. I never really had to reveal this secret because Nash would usually talk to me every night until I was at least drowsy.

“You alright Babe?" Cam ask interrupting my thoughts.

“Oh, um. It's just weird laying alone." I say adding a slight chuckle of embarrassment.

“…do you wanna lay with me?"

“Please?" I reply. “I mean unless you don't want me to. If you don't-"

“Babe, it's fine." I can almost hear the smile on his face.

I lift up slowly and quietly shuffle to his bed, laying next to him. I felt awkward. He didn't put his hand around me like Nash, he just kind of layed there. This wasn't helping me.

“Could you like, hold me or something? Nash does that and it makes me warm." I ask quietly.

“Sure."

He wraps his arm around my side, he also grabs my hand making me more comfortable.

“Anything else?" Cameron ask.

“Um, I'm really sorry for asking, but could you talk to me or something. When you fall asleep, Nash and I usually talk. I need some noise so I can sleep."

“Do you want me to turn some music on?"

“Yeah sure."

Eventually his phone was playing soft music and I was off to sleep.

_*_

I wake up for the second time this morning. Cameron woke me up earlier to tell me that they were going to look for Nash because he didn't come home, and to have him call if he came home.

And yes, Nash is here. He sits on his bed, he stares at the ground until he notices I'm up, then he looks at me. He looks beyond tired.

“Why are you in Cameron's bed?" He questions.
