Jenny's POV

I recognize everything as soon as we get to the neighborhood. As soon as we drive down my street, it pains me to say, "This is it, my house."

I grab the small bag of items that I've collected of my own stuff since I've lived with Brent and his family.

Cameron stops the car. I don't rush to get out of the car. I'm in no hurry. Brent gets out the passenger door and opens mine.

"Do to my social anxiety, and  awkwardness, I never got to say thank you, for all you've done." I tell Cameron.

"Your welcome Jennifer, I wish you the best." He tells me.

I nod and get out the car.

I stand before Brent, he doesn't smile, nor do I. He leans in for a hug and I gladly accept.

"I'll really miss you." I tell him.

"I'll miss you too." He mumbles.

He lets go.

"Could you, um, could you walk me up?"  I ask.

"Um." He hesitates. "Yeah, sure."

The small walk up to the door of which I've lived in for so long seemed so scary, and long. I look to Brent, he gives me an encouraging nod.

I knock on the door. We wait a couple moments, and the door is open. I see my father and little brother brother who I haven't seen in forever.

"Jenny?" My brother ask.

"Jennifer!" My father exclaims while pulling me into a hug.

This is probably awkward or weird for Brent.

"Dad this is my friend," I know not to say his name. "He helped me-" I turn to my side and see Brent is no longer there. I turn fully around to see Cameron's car already taking off.

That's the last time I'll ever see Brent. That's the last time I'll see any of them.

Brent's POV

Jennifer knocks on the door.

It's probably easier not to have to look her in the eyes when I leave, it's probably smartest too, I don't want her parents to see me.

I walk to Cameron's car. I sit and he starts his car up. I stare at my hands in my lap. It's too bad she couldn't have stayed.

"Hey, it's alright, man." Cameron says putting his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine, dude." I say pushing his hand away.

He sighs. I know it's from sympathetic guilt, but I honestly don't care about his feelings right now, I'm too upset.

Babes POV

Brent comes into Nash and my room. He doesn't knock, he doesn't even say "hi". He just comes and sits on the bed next to me and lays his head on my shoulder and hugs me.

They just went to drop Jennifer off, so I can imagine how unhappy he is right now.

I hug him back and don't say anything. He isn't crying, at least I don't think he is. He's just quite.

We stay like that for an hour or so, when Nash comes in the room.

"Hey baby-... you alright little brother?" Nash says.

Brent sighs. I'm not sure how he looks at Nash, but he turns his head away from him, still on my shoulder.

"What's wrong?" Nash mouths.
