“So Cameron likes me, and Nash?" I ask. We're now just walking randomly anywhere, we knew we couldn't go home if I wanted to hear Brent's side of the story.

“Cameron, yes, Nash, possibly." He answers.

“What do you mean possibly, you just said-"

“He may be playing you."

I stare at him. Why would Nash play me?

“I'm just saying, that's just the kind of guy Nash is. Well at least since Beth."

“Who is Beth?"

“Nash's ex." He answers shoving his hands into his pockets.

“And?"

“Right… about that… So first off, she pretended to love him, he fell in love with her, she is a part of another gang, a gang we don't like-"

“So she was undercover?"

"Right." He agrees then continues. “When he found out, I mean you got to imagine how he shut down. Like he would not eat for like four days straight until somehow Brenna got him to, he said he wasn't doing it purposely, that he just wasn't hungry..." He rambles. “Anyway, about that girlfriend..."

“Yes?"

“Yeah, She and her psychotic gang, want to kill you."

“What?!" I trip, when I say this, over a stick because I wasn't paying attention.

“Think my family is crazy, wait till you meet this girl." he says helping me up.

“I didn't even do anything!" I squeal.

“Well, with as insane she  is,  she's smart, she knows with out Nash or Cameron, the gang would fall apart. What shes trying to do, get them depressed, so they're weak, then easier to fight then to destroy."

“Why would someone want to do that?!" I gasp.

“Its a part of being in the gang business, I guess." He shrugs. “But that's how that whole argument between Nash and Cam started."

 “What?" I ask once more.

“Yeah, Cam was saying how we needed to move, it kind of slipped when he admitted to liking you, that's when Nash went off."

“So, I'm going to die?" The feeling is worse than I remember it. My heart beat feel heavy. My stomach feels dead, if that were even possible. My cheeks feel hot and my eyes burn from tears threatening them.

“No, no, we won't let that happen, okay? I promise." He assures me.

I sigh. “We need to go home, its past one in the morning."

 “But what abo-"

“We'll worry about them when we get there. But I'm cold and tired and want to go to bed." I move the strands of hair  in my face away.

He scratches the back of his head, he gives me a look of sympathy. “Okay." he nods. “We can go. Come on."

“I'm going to check on Hayes before I go to bed." Brent whispers.

 I nod. “Goodnight."

When I make it to the room Nash and Cam are sitting on their beds.

I let out a sigh. They look at each other as if they aren't sure of what to say.

“How was your walk?" Nash ask.

 “Fine." I shift awkwardly,

They both nod. We are silent a little longer.

"I'm really tired, so, I'd like to go to bed."
