I go up the stairs, carrying Babe's sleeping body. I stop at my door. Maybe she wants to sleep in the other room. But she said she wanted to start where we ended, that was when we slept together.

I push open the cracked door with my foot. I lay her on the bed, slip off the jeans she wears, and pull the cover over her body.

I go turn on the light because the dim glow of blue from outside isn't very helpful. I squint as the bright yellow nearly blinds me. I take off my clothes, except my boxers.

I turn off the light. But I stop. I stand there, and turn the light on once more. I slowly turn around. I notice something. There is this girl in my bed. She's really pretty, her hair is brown and curly. But something I can't see, she's forgiving, kind, smart, all the things anyone could ask to be. You can't look at someone and see that. I should be happy that I was fortunate enough to find that out about the girl in my bed, our bed.

She grips tightly on the pillow and stiffens. I walk over and touch her back and kiss her cheek and she doesn't move. I go and turn off the light for the second time, and go to bed.

Babe's POV

I wake up and I am only able to move my legs. My arms are held in place with Nash's around me. I start to squirm out of his grip. Suddenly he lets go. That is unusual. I shrug and take it for what it is, that may never happen again.

"Nice try." Nash says sleepily and pulling my back into his grip again.

"I knew something was weird there." I say.

I hear him slightly snicker.

"What do you even do when you get up this early?" He ask.

"Things normal people do." I reply.

"Oh, so you go back to sleep?" He says sarcastically.

I smile. “Your normal, is very different from mine."

"Clearly."

"Is anyone even up?" He ask.

"I don't know, you never let me get up remember?"

"Oh yeah."

"You wanna find out?" I question.

"Nope!" He answers, popping the "p".

"Can I?"

"I guess. " He sighs releasing me.

I get up. I shiver as the cold wind hits my legs. I feel the goosebumps form. I walk quietly out the room just in case someone is up. I make my way to the stairs.

I squeal as Nash suddenly picks me up.

"You should have stayed in bed!" He laughs.

"Shh, I don't think anyone is up!" I whisper.

"Oh well."

"Hey, that's not nice!"

"You're the only person I need to be nice to." He kisses my cheek sweetly.

My cheeks might have burned off from the heat gathered in them when he said that.

"That's not true." I slur anxiously, trying to hide my smile.

"Is too." He smiles walking me down the stairs.

"You wanna go somewhere?" Nash ask.

The tension between Nash and the house is very awkward.

"Um actually, I was going to ask you to hang out with me, Babe. I was hoping we could go on a walk, you've been a little busy since you found out Nash-" Brent begins.
