Once again I was getting another piggy back ride, except this time was from Brent.

“You'll ride home with me right?" He ask as we exit the doors.

“Of course, if you would like me too." I smile.

“Okay." He smiles back.

“You coming Babe?" Nash ask.

“I told Brent I would ride with him." I answer.

“Of course." He huffs. “Well no one is riding with me, will you just come with me?"

“But Brent-"

“Is a big boy, he'll be fine." He smiles evily to Brent.

“No Nash." I mumble. “That's not right, ask Shawn to come with you."

He growls as he rolls his eyes.  “What ever."

I feel a guilt fill my stomach as Brent smiles. He rolls his eyes at his brothers childness.

“I'll go my damn self." Nash grumbles to himself.

“Where is Nash's car?" I ask as we pull in the drive way.

“Don't worry too much about him Babe," Shawn chuckles. “He's a big boy."

Brent and Cameron laugh along with him. I feel my cheeks become hot.

_*_

“…for always." Tate says.

I've been watching American Horror Story ever since we got to their house on Matt's iPad. It's actually pretty interesting, I've never saw anything like this, it's quite… gory.

I scream as a hand jumps at me, and a yell comes after. The dem glow of the iPad soon showed me that it was Brent.

“What are you watching." He giggles at my reaction. He taps the screen for the title to pop up. “Oh I've heard of this," He sits up from his attack position, “Is it any good?"

“Yes," I answer snatching the divice from his hands and pausing it. “Why else would I be watching it for hours?"

“I don't know, maybe you got bored." He shrugs. “Why don't you ever watch TV with us?" He ask.

“It' s always the same, the shows you watch. The main character is always injured by the end, but he always accomplish his mission, nothing more." I explain.

He smiles. “Yeah… yeah I guess you're right."

His eyes glow under the dem light.

Brent's POV

Her eyes glow under the dem light. Brenna told me about her suspicions about Nash and Babe and that made her even less appealing to me. Brenna also told me about how much Babe and I were alike. I never really agreed Bren, but I do now, more than anything, I do now.

I take this moment of belief and go for it. I kiss her.

She smells so good, like fruit, sweet fruit, her mouth taste the same. I thought kissing someone would be so foreign, I haven't kissed any one for almost a year. I didn't even notice I was stroking her hair, until..

“Yes! I knew it!" Brenna squeals.

“Shit!" I say under my breath.

“Matt! You owe me $20!" She yells running out the room.

What?

“No!" I panic running after her down the stairs. She was already giving him the details.

“No way!" Matt smile at me. “With Babe? Good job man! Cameron you hear that? Brent actually did it."

“I don't know whether to punch you, or give you a high five." Cameron says. “Lets go with a high five, she isn't my sister."

“Its about damn time you kissed a girl you actually know." Carter's voice rings.

“For real!" Shawn and Tasia laugh.

“You guys, it's not fucking funny!" I yell silencing their voices.

You hear footsteps occupying the floor coming towards us. I prepare myself to face Babe.

“What's not funny?" Nash's voice ask, just as clear as his face to me now.

“Nash," Carter says. “Brent has finally kissed Babe."

For a split second, I see the slightest bit of anger, maybe jealousy, go through his eye, then it all vanished. My heart races, I know he's about to hit me or he's about to yell.

“Cool." Nash nods in approval.

Or not.

“Where is she?" He ask.

“U-up stairs." I studder.

Babe's POV

“Fuck, fuck, fuck!" I repeat sitting on the roof.

This will ruin all of Brent and my relationship! You know the screwed up part about it? At first I was like Damn! He's a good kisser… But Nash is better… why the hell was I thinking about his brother?!

“Why do you insist on being out here on the coldest nights?" His brother ask.

“I guess those are the nights I need to think the most." I shrug.

He climbs through the window and joins me.

“So, whatcha thinkin about then?" Nash ask as he sits next to me.

“Nothing." I lie.

He kind of chuckles as he leans more comfortably against the house, staring out into the woods.

“Since when do you kiss Brent too?"

“Just tonight…"

“I knew he liked you." He half smiles, still looking into the distance.

“It was just a moment, it meant nothing." I sigh.

He finally looks at me. “You know, it's okay if you like him… you're kinda perfect for each other…"

“Yeah on paper…"

“What do you mean?"

I inhale as I lean back, mocking his posture. “My mom and my dad, their exactly the same."

“And happily married right?"

“Hate each other."

“Oh."

“My point exactly. So, I don't want to really be with someone like me, ya know."

He nods. “Yeah."

A few moments pass. “Well I'm going to bed. See you in the morning."

“Yeah, see you in the morning."
