I lived with both Henry and Jenny for about a month. I started to feel bad about invading their privacy or what ever, so they helped me get a house of my own.
I got a new house that looks more like a two story apartment, with no other apartments attached to it, instead they're spreaded out. It has a spacious kitchen, a big living room, and a small laundry room downstairs. Upstairs I have Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's all I need though, I hardly have any friends, other than Jenny and Henry, I guess Rachel too.
Rachel is a collage student who lives a house down across the street. A lot of college students live around here, the college she goes to isn't too far.
Rachel and I sit on the floor in the room that I still have no idea what to do with, so far it's been a storage for boxes.
"So what is it?" I ask her staring at the abstract mural on the wall.
"In not sure. The girl who used to live here went to the college with me, she was an artist."
"Cool." I shrug. "Was she was your friend?"
"I think I was her only friend." Rachel explains. "I never saw her with anyone else but me or Matt."
"Matt?!" I gasp.
"Um... Yeah, Matthew, the asshole from next door." She says pointing to the side of my house he lived.
"Oh... I was thinking of someone else."
"Oh... Well I've gotta run, I got to study." She tells me.
"Oh, okay, you want to come over tomorrow?" I ask.
"Oh, I wish I could, but my brothers coming from the army this week and I'm going back home to see him."
"Oh, so you'll be gone a while?"
"Yeah. Sorry."
Ditch your brother! I have no friends!
"Oh, no it's fine, go see your brother. Have fun."
"K, bye." She smiles.
"Lock the door on your way out."
"Sure thing!" She chirps.
Her ponytail wips in the air as she turns.

"Hey can you come over tomorrow?" I ask Jenny on the phone.
"Oh, sorry Babe, I got plans tommorow."
"Hi (Y/n)!" Henry's voice calls in the background.
"What about the mop of curls in the background?" I ask.
"Actually, he's involved in my plans."
"Ugh! Why can't I have friends?!" I groan.
"Because you never try to have friends!" She tells me.
"I know, I know." I sigh.
"I guess I can go to church with you Sunday and make some friends."
"That's a great idea!" She beams.
I roll my eyes, she's so happy and I'm not, it isn't fair.
"Well I'm going to bed." I tell her.
"K, goodnight."
I end the call.
I open one of the only five boxes in this room now.
I find an even smaller box and open it as well. I find a Tiffany's bracelet that says Best on the front and a small note on the back. It's the bracelet Brent got me last Christmas. I had taken it off while packing and forgot all about it. I struggle to put it on one handed. Eventually I accomplish. I sigh, and decide to go to bed. At least I can dream I'm not lonely.
