“Okay then you ready?" Nash ask.

“Wait this is it? No selling the house? That's it?" I ask.

“We don't need the money from selling the house we have plenty."

“Um okay then."

“Then you ready to go?"

I nod.

“K." He opens a the door. "Ladies first."

I smile “Thank you."

“Of course."

“Okay then, what's your favorite color?" Nash ask.

“Um, purple, no pink, no blue, no white!"

“White?" Nash laughs.

“Ha! That was a trick, white isn't a color it's a shade!"

“Oh, okay ms.Brain."

We've been in the car for about an hour and the whole time we've been asking questions about one another.

“Um okay, my turn. When is your birthday?"

“December 28th." He answers.

“That's so close to now!" I gasp

“Yeah, the big 19!"

“You said you were 17."

“You assumed."

“Well why didn't you correct me?"

“I know how much you like being right."

I laugh and he joins me. His hand somehow find mine and he tangles his fingers with mine.

“Well now that we're playing this game, I have a more important question." He says turning the corner.

“Okay." My mind races with ideas of what exactly he would want to ask.

“So, I wanted to know if you'd be my girlfriend."

I'm befuddled.

“Nash, this is only on one car ride, I drive you insane."

“I know, trust me, I do." He assures me. At this time I would usually smile but this is so serious to me. “But I've been thinking about it a while." He says.

I stare at him unsure of what to do or say. Am I really ready to commit to one person? This is so fast, but I got to remember  what the blue eyed boy before me said last night.

“Is that a no?" Nash ask.

“No."

“No?"

“Yes." I nod. “I mean no! I mean yes it's a no. I mean no, it's a yes!"

“So, you are my girlfriend?"

“Yes."

He smiles and pulls into a parking lot. He leans over the glove box and gently grabs my face and kisses me. It was like one  of those unrealistic Disney channel moments.

“K, sorry, I've been dying to do that anyways." Nash says.

It was sweet but awkward to me. “Me too." I smile.

“No, I just don't like the way your music sounds." I tell him

"What? My music is amazing!" He brags.

“There's nothing amazing about showing off the money you have. It's quite inappropriate actually." I tell him.

“Okay then fine, you turn on what you like. Some teeny bopper stuff I bet."
