"Where is she?!", Kade practically screamed when he walked into his house. "Kade it's okay , I'm sure Chay-", Jared started stay ,but distracted by the window sitting by the house with a piece of paper on it, "Kade cone here real quick". Kade came rushing outside, "What is it?", he asked as he looked down at what Jared was staring at. He read the paper taped to the window and it said:

Sorry about the window,
And did you mind if I borrowed Chay for a few days? I'm full of sorrow without her. She called for you ,but you couldn't hear. I couldn't bear to hear it anymore ,so I laced and taped her up.

Your #1 fan,
The Poet

Chay was induced completely into darkness. She couldn't move , open her eyes , or even speak. She was full of fear and anxiety. Westyn kept an eye on her through the review mirror, he'd been driving for it felt like forever. He was taking Chay to a cabin in Gatlinburg. He always over heard her talking about how she loved the smoky mountains and now he was taking her. When he finally arrived , he pulled over to a Shell station to get something to drink. Before he got out of the car he looked back at Chay, and she slept so peacefully. Westyn really was friends with Kade at one point and time. He could tell at Kade's house that Chay was exhausted. She had dark circles under her eyes , and had such a fast reaction to the antidote the he had injected in her arm. He quickly walked into the gas station, paid for a fountain drink , and walked out. When he walked up to the car a sick felling struck him. Chay was still sleeping, and nothing seemed to be wrong. Westyn didn't pay any attention to it ,and continued his journey.

About forty five minutes into Gatlinburg , Chay started moving her legs like someone had shocked her. Westyn didn't know was going on. Maybe she was just dreaming away, he thought.

Everything was completely dark , so dark that Chay couldn't even see her own hands. She felt anxiety roll onto her like a huge beach wave would roll onto the shore. She tried to wake up and escape the darkness, but nothing was working. Chay heard the faintness of someone's voice, and tried to scream out to them.

"Hello?! Can anyone hear me??", she knew it was hopeless. Darkness had always been a dead end for her and a bottomless pit. Chay started running after the voice until it got louder and louder. It sounded so close ,yet so far away.

"The Poet? Who is that Kade?", Jared asked confused. Kade didn't answer instead he pulled out his phone and called Caleb.

"Hey man , how's it going?"

"Caleb have you heard from Chay lately?"

"No , I thought she was staying with you"

"Well , she's not here...but that's why I need your help"

"Okay man, I'm in school but I can leave early. Matter of fact I'll just drive to your house"

"Okay sounds good, I'll see you in a few"

"Alright buddy bye"

Kade hung up, and looked over at the note. "Do recognize the handwriting?", Jared asked him.

"I want to say I do ,but it's hard to tell", Kade replied analyzing this handwriting.

"Well at least they left a window", Jared said jokingly.

"Yeah that's true, well let's get installed before mom comes home",Kade said as they picked up the window and sat it on the porch. Kade went inside to get work gloves to pick up the broken pieces of glass. When he was on his way back from his room he noticed a butcher knife on the kitchen floor. "Jared come here for a second!", Kade said calling for him. He came rushing in the house , "Yeah what's going on?", Jared asked as he gazed down at the knife.
