"Um...hi mom", Chay said embarrassed,"....dad". They both looked at her in shock and disbelief. A few quite awkward minutes went by.

"I'd hate to break up the silent party ,but dinner is getting cold. Chay why don't you help me carry the food", Jared said motioning Chay. She scurried to the kitchen not even looking at her parents. Kade picked up the dropped fork ,and went to the kitchen.

"Thanks Kade", Chay said putting the fork in the sink , and gave him a new one. He gave her a look that said 'it's not a big deal'. To Chay this was a huge deal that her parents just saw their daughter making out.

Jared and Chay got all of the food on the table. Chay sat next to Kade, and Jared sat on the other side of him. Amy was already sitting at the head of the table, and Brianna and Antonio sat across from Chay.

"Let's say grace", Amy said simply, "Chay why don't you lead us"

"Okay....Heavenly Father we thank you letting us all be together this evening. We thank you for this delicious meal that you've blessed us with, and let us all eat and be merry , amen", Chay said.

"Amen", everyone said in unison.

"Good job Chay that was beautifully said", Amy said smiling at her.

"Thanks mom oops...I mean Amy", Chay said feeling the gaze of her mother on her.

"So Chay you never did answer my question the other day when we were talking...what happened to your voice?", Brianna asked. Everyone was looking at Chay expecting the right answer.

"Uhh ...I ..um was watching WWE a few days ago and I got really into it", Chay lied. Brianna laughed at what her daughter said.

"Yeah right ,you never watch wrestling"

"Well now I do", Chay said trying convince her mother with a lie. If Brianna knew what happened seven days ago that would give her another excuse to make Chay move to Nashville.

"Well okay then...this all looks delicious Amy did you make all of this?", Brianna asked digging in.

"Yes , Chay and I both prepared the food", Amy said winking at Chay. Brianna was struck by those words.

"You never helped me make holiday dinner Chay"

"Because we always ordered out"

"And when did you start saying grace? I can't remember the last time we went to church"

"I started saying it when I moved here, and I go to church every week now"

"Oh do you make out there too?", Brianna said looking at Chay and Kade now.

"Mom I didn't want you here to start an argument. Now you told me there was something you wanted to talk about...what is it?"

"Well I wanted you give you another opportunity to come live with us", Brianna said looking only at Chay, "now just think about..this is your decision, and you don't have to decide today"

"I ..uh...I want to stay here in Knoxville", Chay said sure of her decision. Brianna wasn't to happy , but it wasn't her decision to make.

"Why? You don't have anything here. There is so much potential where we live, and the schools are much more advanced over there"

"Look mom I'm happy where I am , and I do have something over here..I have a family and I'm in love"

"Your family is right across from you, and I actually have one more surprise for you.....I'm pregnant", Brianna patting her stomach. Jared almost choked on his pie, and Kade's mouth wide open. Chay was as shocked as they were.
