The Upper Hand

Kade continued to allow the anger overcome him. Fury consumed him so much that couldn't barely see straight. Jared and Caleb was yelling at him , but Kade couldn't hear a word. He finally looked down at Westyn. There was so much blood running from all over his face.

"Is that all you got?", Westyn said clearly as the scarlet, velvet blood dripped from different parts of his face. Even through all of the blood and bruises Westyn still had a arrogant smirk on his face.

"Is that your way of asking for more?", Kade said ready to give all he had. Both of Westyn's eyes were almost swollen shut, and his mouth was busted. His eyebrows were almost completely covered in crusted , dry blood. Kade reared back his arm once again to punch him one last time.

"Kade!!! Stop it!!!", a voice said catching his attention. It was Chay running up to Kade , but also keeping her distance. "You're going to kill him!" , Chay said slowly making her up to him. Kade finally broke as if someone turned a switch off. He ran up to Chay and she embraced him knowing whoever that was beating up Westyn ,was gone. Westyn tried to prop himself onto his elbows , started to crackle.

"You all are so pathetic", he said coughing up blood. Chay started to walk up to Westyn.

"Chay don't -", Jared said warning her. She continued to walk up to him. She held out her hand to help him stand up. Westyn didn't hesitate to grab it, as he stood up embraced Chay.

"You may think the game's are over , but it doesn't until I win", Westyn whispered in her ear, "So enjoy your victory Chay. You may have won the battle , but I will win the war"

"Get off of me", Chay said pushing him off, "I hope you enjoyed what you've done to me , because the only thing you'll be winning is a free ride to jail"

Westyn suddenly spit in Chay's face. His thick , maroon blood splattered onto her face. Jared and Kade ran up to Westyn , but Chay held up her hand. Chay kneed him into his you know what, and punched in the face. Westyn bent over , just groaned in pain.

"Jared call the cops, I want him locked up for good", Chay turned around now facing Kade and Jared. She saw Caleb still holding back Andy. Chay walked up to Andy and Caleb.

"Caleb you can let her go, she won't do anything because her master is down", Chay said. Caleb let her arms go.

"You b-", Andy almost said.

"Say it , I want you to say it. You don't know how bad I want you to say it", Chay said almost yelling, finally feeling like she had the upper hand. No. She finally felt like she was winning.

"I want her locked up too", Chay said to Andy's face. Everyone was pleasantly surprised and a little bit shocked to see this new Chay. She turned back around, and Jared was already on the phone. Kade was happy , but exhausted. His hands had just spots of dry blood on them , but Chay knew it wasn't his blood. He gave Chay a hug , but still watched Westyn to make sure he wasn't going anywhere. Westyn just in sat in pain, but of course pain never shut him up before.

"You finally did it", he mumbled looking at Chay.

"Excuse me? I couldn't quite hear that?", she said making him eat his own words.

"You finally did it", Westyn said louder, "You finally grew a backbone".

"Enjoy it", Jared said before Chay had a chance to say anything , "Soak it up , because the police will be here soon"

Westyn tried his best to prop himself up , but he was finally too weak to do anything. Andy was still just standing by Caleb , knowing that if she were to try to make a run for it ,she would never make it.

"I have one question for you Westyn", Chay started. When she spoke it was as if Westyn was in a trance, he gave her a look that said 'ask away'. "Why did you do all of things to me? Why did you work so hard to capture me? I obviously don't love you .. It'll always be Kade-"

"We already know that", Westyn mumbled under his breath.

"I don't hate you Westyn....I really don't", Chay said. Those eight simple words made everyone's heads turn.

"He ran you over with a car on your prom night, you were in a coma for almost 2 weeks after that, he kidnapped you and took to a hidden cabin in the mountains , and now this", Jared said motioning around him. "This bunker. How can you not hate him?"

Chay didn't have a ligimate answer. She didn't want to answer the question honestly, but she had to.

"I-" , Chay was so close to saying it but before she could ,the police , the medics , and Channel 5 News came barging in the door all at the same time.
