Arrival

As we soared through the sky, the scenery was amazing.

The clouds were a bright white, and the sky was a light blue.

There was a gentle breeze, and the smell of nature.

Before we knew it, we were almost there.

I only knew that because Miku told me, in his mind.

I looked up, we seemed to be tilting back.

Moments later, I was sure we were.

Everyone started to slide down the tail of the bird.

"Everyone hold on tight!" Shouted Miku.

Suddenly we all screamed as it seemed like the bird was taking us to our doom.

But instead, he kept accelerating upwards, until a trail of dust formed below him.

Above us, a small white dot appeared.

The dot became bigger as we went up.

Soon it was the size of a tennis ball. A basketball. A pizza. A window.

And eventually it stopped becoming bigger, but we didn't stop going upwards.

I clutched the bird tightly and shut my eyes.

When I reopened them, we were heading towards a giant white circle.

As we went through it, the sight of the earth we knew started disappearing.

The trees, the leaves, the blue sky, the green grass, they all were gone.

When we went completely through it, a new world appeared.

Rolling hills, yellowish sky, strange plants, the purple ground, filled our eyes.

The white portal became smaller, and smaller, and smaller.

The bird flew straight again, and through the golden sky, of Pawrawl.

I thought that Koko would be awake by now, but I'm pretty sure Miku gave her, and Callie a sleep spell or something.

I looked down. I saw the strangely colored water, like someone put food coloring them.

I saw the unique, exotic people.

There were Flopians, Shahinz, Elves, Trolls.....or just really ugly people.

There were weird trees, with new fruits and vegetables I've never seen before.

I noticed a dark red squash-shaped fruit or vegetable.

"Is that the thing you're looking for?" I asked, pointing to the red fruit tree.

Miku shook his head. "If it were that easy to find, you wouldn't be here." He answered.

I had no idea what that meant, but I didn't care.

Soon we were close enough to land. The bird slowly flew lower and lower.

His wings gently brushed the surface of a green-colored lake, as he passed by.

Moments later, he landed in a nearby field.

His left wing lowered, from his body to the field, like a ramp from a ship.

We got off.

The bird flew up, and disappeared in the sky.

Phix had to carry Koko and Callie, since they were "asleep." Miku and I walked.

The field was filled with tall grass, and for once, it was just like the grass back home.

But, next to the grass were rows and patches of strangely shaped and colored vegetables.

We walked out of the field and onto a violet-colored road.

Behind us, the click-clock of a horse, carrying a wagon, caught my attention.

The tall horse had a shiny cone-shaped thing on the top of his head.

He was a unicorn.

Out of nowhere Miku burst out laughing.

"What?" I asked, looking at him strangely.

He's not a unicorn He sent to me privately.

Oh... I thought.

We continued to walk around, looking for the fruit.

Although I wasn't much help, since I didn't exactly know what that fruit was.

Phix on the other hand, had the scent covered.

He roamed the streets, sniffing away.

While looking, we passed many interesting things.

Strange animals, not unicorns.

Unique people, not trolls.

Red fruit, not the right one.

After a while of searching, we decided to spilt up.

I made my way towards a red-stoned road, alone.

This street was filled with many small shops, carts, and stands.

It was a marketplace.

I reached a fruit stand, scanning their products.

"Can I help you?" The lady asked.

The lady ran the stand. She had a distinctive face, small freckles, and she was quite large.

She wore a pastel yellow dress, with a matching hair accessory.

"Um, I'm not sure. Do you sell red fruits?" I asked.

She scratched her head.

"Hmm, let me see..." She searched the back of the stand and came back moments later, empty handed.

"Sorry, I don't. But perhaps you'd like to try our scarlet colored eurphie melons. She trailed off.

I shook my head and walked away.

As I made my way to the next stand, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned to see a teenage girl, about my age with long black hair, covering her right eye.

She had pale white skin, and wore a black sweater with skinny-jeans.

I couldn't really see her face that well due to her long hair.

"Hi..." I greeted.

"I hear you need the red zarbou fruit?" She asks.
