New friend?

~~~TIME SKIP (one week later)~~~

Justin's POV

I woke up with Raegan in my arms. I got out of bed without waking up Rae, so he could sleep more. Grabbing my phone on the bedside table and checking the time, I realized it was only 7:00 am. I didn't want to wake up Mia since it was still early. Looking back on Raegan, he was hugging a pillow. I soon left the room to make some breakfast for all three of us. I then heard the doorbell ring.

"DING"

Who could be here at 7:00 in the morning? Our house was pretty big and everyone here but me were heavy sleepers, so I ignored it. Except the doorbell kept ringing.

"DING"

"DING"

"DING, DING"

I finally decided to check who it was, so Raegan and Mia could continue to sleep. It was Kale. I decided to ignore him again, but that didn't last long. I listen to my phone ring for a little bit, then stop. It then started to ring again, and I finally decided to pick it up.

"Hello?" I said in a groggy voice.

"Hey, man whats up? Haven't talked to you since you adopted Mia! How's she doing? Speaking of Mia, isn't she Brandie's age?" Kale said in an energetic voice, although it was early in the morning.

Brandie is Kale and Elaine's daughter. (A/n: sorry if that's not how to spell her name and for the purpose of this story, he's dating his current girlfriend.)

"Oh. Oh yea! Mia, she's been doing pretty well. How's Brandie? She is Brandie's age, I never thought about that." I respond.

"Oh cool! Brandie's been doing fine as well." Kale answered, "You doing anything later today? Maybe Brandie and Mia can hang out whilst we 'adults' talk."

That was actually a good idea, coming from Kale.

"Yea, that's a good idea!" I yelled, but immediately realized I was too loud, because Raegan came out of our room looking annoyed at me.

"I have to go, I think Raegan is going to get me. Pray for me, bro."

"Haha, don't worry, you'll be fine. I'll text you later about the plans. Byeee!" He said, holding out the 'e'.

With that he hung up.

I set my phone on the table and ran to the couch. I patted down the couch, directing for Raegan to sit. He sat down and started to tickle me. After a few minutes of tickling, I was out of breath. We decided to watch some Netflix while cooking breakfast, waiting for Mia to wake up.

Mia's POV

I wake up around 8:45, looking at my new clock next to my bed. I leave my room and slowly walk downstairs, to see dad and papa sitting on the couch watching T.V. I could smell breakfast. I run up to them.

"BOO!" I yell then giggle.

"AGH! You scared me you little munchkin!!" Papa laughed, then picked me up.

Papa placed me on the couch next to Dad, so I could watch Disney channel. While I was holding dad's hand, he told me about this girl name Brandie and her parents. They were close family friends and were coming over to meet me later that afternoon.

~~~TIME SKIP TO WHEN KALE AND HIS FAMILY COMES OVER~~~

Papa helped me get dressed today. I wore a plain blue dress with a white collar, white leggings and white flats. Dad was getting ready for Mr. Garrah's family to come over. It was around 2:00 pm, and they were going to stay for dinner. I wasn't really nervous, because I had always wanted a real friend. It was really boring without anyone my age around.

Soon Mr. Garrah's family came. They seemed pretty nice. I did not notice the little girl standing behind Kale until he walked over to Dad. There was Brandie. At first we were standing there awkwardly, until the parents left.

"Hi, I'm Mia!" I said eagerly.

"Umm, I'm Brandie." she answered.

And from that we hit it off. We basically became best friends. By the time Dad called us for dinner, we basically knew each other's life story. We had spaghetti, and I kind of made a mess but we just laughed it off. Soon the time had come and Brandie and her family had to leave. But the good thing was that school was starting in a couple of weeks and we would go to the same school, for kindergarten. We said our goodbyes and it was time to get ready for bed.

Dad helped get ready for bed, while Papa was cleaning the kitchen and dinner room. Dad helped me with washing myself and dressing. Although I knew I could do it by myself, like I had always done it. Soon Papa came in and wished me a goodnight, as well as Dad. I fell asleep dreaming about my new school, my family, and my new friend.

A/n:

So Mia finally met Kale! But anyways, sorry this chapter was on the shorter side compared to my first chapter. Also sorry for not making this as exciting as I wanted.
