I then see his blue hair, his unnaturaly shiny white teeth, and hear...again that laugh. Who else would it be other than Caesar Flickerman?  Peeta sees me walking towards him and greets me with a kiss. This gets, of course, Caesar flustered.

“I am delighted to see that things haven’t change, one bit... ONE BIT!!!” He says taking my hand and kissing it, just as he did before my first Hunger Games. Before I could ask any questions as to why Caesar was here, Peeta jumps in. “Caesar stopped by to see if we would be interested in doing an interview”

“Yes, Katniss, dear, all of the people from the Capitol, and especially me, would love to hear from you.” Caesar says with his laugh. Why would Caesar want to come to Twelve just to ask us that? He is what you call, otherwordly.

“I figured when we get back from-” Peeta stops in his tracks, before he would spill his secret. He looks relieved thinking I didn’t catch that.

“I guess we could do that.” I say with a half-hearted smile because I just want my life to get back to being private and normal.

“Splendid. Absolutely splendid! Shall we say next Monday? I will have a hover craft sent here around 10:30.” Caesar is like a little kid, without a care in the world right now. “I won’t keep my star-crossed lovers any longer.” He skips, literally skips out the door and then he is gone. I am still unsure about the whole interview with Caesar next week, and Peeta knows because he looks unsettled. “Don't tell me your scared to do this interview." I lust look down at the ground.

“The interview will only be about ten minutes and then we will be done. Okay?” he says giving me a kiss. “And besides, when you did those interviews with him for the Games, you were a natural,” Peeta continues giving me another kiss. Peeta still sees that I am worried and before I can say anything, Peeta says, “I think it’s time we better leave.”

 “Leave for?”

“Your surprise.” Peeta looks as if he is saying, ‘duh’.

“ Already? Oh, so you’re still not going to tell me where we are going?” Peeta just shakes his head and goes upstairs and comes down with two luggage bags and a small box that looks like it could be something special, but I don’t mention anything.
