"What just happened?" The prince asked.
"You did it." She hugged him excitedly. "Thank you."
"Yeah, but now we have to go, before someone discovers a slave has been freed and that I'm the prince." He said quickly packing his things.
"I think you should leave that behind." She said staring at his bag.
"Why?"
"It looks princely." She smiled innocently. "And here are the clothes you asked for." She handed them to him and he scrutinized it.
"No offense but these clothes belong to a peasant."
"I'm glad you noticed." She smiled. "Now put them on, we need to leave."
"Well, I can't, not with you in the room unless you want to see me naked." He smirked
"Okay, I'll turn around." She turned around and allowed him to dress up.
"You know, you never told me your name."
'I'm Alexandria."
"Nice to meet you Alexandria, I'm Albrecht, and I guess you already know that, but all the girls call me Alby."
"Nice to meet you Prince Alby." She curtsied still with her back facing her.
"Just Alby will do, no need to be so formal." He chuckled.
"I'm done. Let's go"
"Okay, let's use the back door, to avoid prying eyes." They successfully escaped the inn without detection and headed deep into the state towards the Mage's fortress. A mage in Einvor is equivalent to the senators of Alcheronia and it was also used to refer to a level of someone who uses magic. There is a sorcerer, that's the lowest level. Then the next was the Mage, then followed by the second highest level, the warlock and the highest, the sage. Even though they both said they were headed for the Mage's fortress, the prince knew that the Mage was no Mage when it came to his level in Magic. He was a warlock, his mother made sure that all his Mages were warlock, so that someone won't try to mess with their minds.
"Alexandria, we need a plan, we can't just barge in and say, hello, this is Alexandria, and I am prince Albrecht and we were just wondering if we could borrow a few weapons of yours, thank you." He said mockingly and she laughed her head off.
"No we can't." she said wiping some stray tears from her eyes. "I was thinking I'll just pop in and take a few things. Say hi to the Mage then I'll pop out."
"How?" He looked at her to see if there was any trace of seriousness in her.
"Have you heard of teleportation?"
"Yes. How? Do you have magic?"
"Yes. Sorry I forgot to tell you."
"So why didn't you free yourself."
"Well, that kind of magic can't be undone by oneself or a commoner, only by royal blood or by the person who placed it there in the first place."
"Okay. But even if you can teleport, do you think a whole warlock would not have a defense mechanism for that."
"I'm sure he does."
"So, I'm going to need you to break it."
"A spell like that wouldn't go away silently. We'll be blowing our cover."
