"Hey! Hey! Wake up, we have to go. They've found us." Albrecht gently tapped her,but she wasn't budging so he poured water on her and she immediately sat up

"What was that for!" she yelled as she came to her senses.

"To wake you up, now let's go before they catch us." He said panicking.

"Who are you talking about?!" She sat up and used the transformed blanket to clean herself up.

"My mother's guards." He snatched the blanket from her. "Resigno." He said and the blanket transformed back into a staff.

"Okay. Let's go then." Alexandria stood up and packed the grimoires back into her bag and picked it up. Then suddenly one of the guard jumped through the waterfall into the cave. "Afflictio." Alexandria yelled just when he was about to attack the prince. The guard fell down screaming in agony. They quickly run out of the cave and headed forward, toward the border.

"What did you do to him?" The Prince asked

"Nothing, I just made him feel some pain."

"No, that was a torture spell. You could have killed him."

"Yes, and he was going to kill you. Pray tell, why do your mother's soldiers want to kill? I thought she wanted you back, not dead."

"Yes she wants me back but it's my sister who wants me dead." He said as they run, headed for the border.

"Why does she want you dead?"

"Because she wants the throne for herself, but my mother wants me to take the throne."

"So does your mother know what she's doing?"

"No, and even if I told her, she wouldn't believe me, no one will."

"Well I do." she smiled at her and he smiled back. "So your plan is to run away and abandon your kingdom in the hands of your jealous sister."

"Yes, for the meantime, to get stronger so that I can come back and fight her."

"I will gladly fight at your side."

"Thank you." He grinned widely at her.

"But you do know that we need to go east."

"Why?"

"Well, that's where the border gate is."

"That place will be heavily guarded. can't we just cross the border itself without passing through the gate."

"Haven't you heard the story about the border?" She stopped and asked.

"Which story?" He also stooped and asked.

"It is believed that long ago, Einvor had a terrible King, the mad king, they called him. Every single person in the country hated him, even his children. So people begun to leave the country and when he got to know about it, he formed the border and made gates that anyone who passes through the borders without passing through the gates will lose their magic and possibly die. So no one left the country again, but a year later his own children killed him. Unfortunately that didn't remove the border and it has stayed ever since then."

"And is it true?"

"I don't know, but I don't want to be the one to find out so, I think the border gate is our best bet."
