"Alexandria!" Albrecht walked into the castle through the broken doors. "I hope you didn't kill her!"

"Of course not, and keep your voice down, you'll wake her up." She appeared out of nowhere standing at the top of the stairs.

"She's asleep?" He smiled and she returned his smile with an evil one.

"Yes, well, you said to neutralize her. This was the fastest way I could think of doing that." She pointed to Aloysia when he reached the top of the stairs beside her. "So now what?" She asked as they approached her body.
Without answering her question, Albrecht picked up the lasso and tied her hands behind her. He sat her up and awakened her.

"Exsuscito." He touched her chest and she rose up and gasped like a dead person who was just resurrected. "Are you okay?" He placed his hand on her shoulder and looked into her eyes. When she came to her senses and saw Albrecht staring at her with his hands on him she gasped pushed him with her feet and began rolling away. Alexandria was able to stop her and pulled her to where Albrecht fell.
"Good to see you're okay." Albrecht held her legs and sat on them to prevent her from using it to defend herself.

"Please don't hurt me." She said and a tear dropped from her cheek.

"I won't hurt you, I won't even dare. Now tell me all what my sister told you." He wiped her tears as they trickled down.

"Albrecht I don't think she has been brainwashed. I don't see it in her eyes. I think she really believes you're a monster." Alexandria commented whiles tapping his shoulder. "I think I will leave you two alone and check out the castle."

"No, don't go."  He pleaded with her. "Do you really think I am a monster." He turned to face Aloysia.

"Well you did kill you father, didn't you?" She sobbed. "And I was beginning to fall for you."  More tears run down her cheeks.

"No, don't cry, there is a perfect explanation for what happened ." He wiped her tears. "My dad." Just as he began to explain the situation to her he felt a strong surge of power run through him, it was as if the life was being sucked out of him. He quickly got up off her and moved away from her as far as possible. "What was that?" He gasped staring at her in horror.

"What did I do." She looked at him confused.

"Stay away from me." She threaten her.

"What did she do?" Alexandria asked Albrecht slowly approaching him.

"She was sucking the life out of me."

"Your life force?" Alexandria asked to be certain

"Yeah,  something like that."

"I remember the last time something like that happened, he was saying something about a sin-eater." Aloysia contributed

"Sin-eater? What are the odds of that." She chuckled

"What is a sin-eater?" Albrecht asked utterly confused.

"A sin-eater is someone or something that able to absorb a curse with no side effect, but it is usually specific to one person and to one curse. Besides sin-eaters are rarely people, they are usually animals or things." She laughed uncontrollably.

"So I can make him normal again." Aloysia's eyes lit up with hope.

"And who said I am not normal. I don't want to get rid of this curse, in fact this curse makes me whole." He said stubbornly.

"Your sister said that after you killed your father,  you began to grow strong reading more grimoires, learning more magic things because of your hunger for power and when you got the first chance to kill someone you didn't even hesitate, you killed them immediately."

"Let me just stop you right there." Alexandria cut in. "When Albrecht got the first chance to defend himself, he used non lethal methods to defend himself right up until his sister tried to kill me in fact she almost did and turned herself rogue that was when he killed the guards turned rogue, absorbed their life force and transfered one of the life forces to me, to save me from dying and to save his sister from going rogue and how did she repay him, she cut him into pieces."

"Don't flatter yourself. He didn't turn rogue for you, he turned rogue when he killed his father."

"He didn't kill his father." Alex said in a murderous tone approaching her slowly.

"Okay, Okay. Let me clear things up." Albrecht stepped in.  He took a deep breath while they all stared at him intently. "I killed my father. He was sick and was dying but he was a proud man so no one was aware of his condition. One day he called the sage, who was then my teacher, and I and told us about his condition and told the sage to kill him and put him out of his misery. But he didn't want to do it, I saw how the man was suffering and how he couldn't bear for the whole family to bear it, so I ended it, I put him out of his misery. I don't know what the old sage was thinking but he wiped my memory and replaced in with a false memory. For a while I thought the sage killed my father, right up until I killed him and my real memories came back."

"You lied to me?" Alexandria looked at him appalled.

"I am sorry." He said after staring at them speechless for a while.

"I can't take this anymore." She began to move away from him and he chased after her but she couldn't catch up to her. After he lost Alexandria he slowly returned  to Aloysia and untied her, "I hope you can see that I am not a monster." She stood up and hugged him preventing him from breaking down.

"I'll try." She whispered into his ear and he held onto her.

"Can I now ask you want my sister has planned?"

"She has declared war on her own country and she has delivered her mother into the hands of the enemy, by the way where is she?"

"She is dead. And I thought I was the monster." He walked away quickly.
"Gather everyone and tell them to come to the war room. We have to prepare for war." He said as he disappeared around th e corner toward the war room.
