If the thing you most loved became real

Chapter 24

"'I can't believe it! He really doesn't know how much I care."' Stef shouted in her mind

"'Maybe it's because I haven't told him."' She states realizing

"No I can't fall for anyone." She states out loud when she's in her room in her house.

"Oh really?" Someone asks

"How did you find my house!?" Stef asked alarmed that evil Bakura knew where she lived.

"Let's get answers later." He said just inches away from her face.

"Get out!" Stef said now terrified. Evil Bakura sensed this and smiled.

"Afraid are we?"

"Leave me alone."

"And why should I?" Evil Bakura states pinning her down on her bed.

"Because I don't want any of this anymore. I want a normal life." She said tears in her eyes

"You should of thought about that when you almost beat me at Egypt." He said in her ears

"I don't know what your talking about." She states lying

"Oh. Really." He stated centimeters close to her face. A blush grew on Stef's face.

"Naughty naughty." He stated

"I'm not naughty!" She stated he inched closer

"Are you really still fond of chocolate? Really Stef 5ooo years and you still haven't changed." He said sadistically. He squeezed her wrists. Stef yelps in pain.

"Your hurting me." Stef said wincing

"Stop me then." He said inching closer everytime.

The door suddenly bursts open.

"Let her go." The person stated

"'Yami!"' Stef thought relieved

"Hmn fun is going have to wait." Evil Bakura says disappearing.

Yami runs to where Stef was. "Are you alright? Did he do anything to you?" He bombed with questions, but Stef only hugged him and started to cry.

"I was so scared he was going to try something." Stef said trying not to say again.

Yami looked at Stef who was very distressed, he smiled and pulled her to a tight embrace.

"I know that's why I came." He whispered

"I'm afraid to be by myself, can you stay." She stated blushing

"I can't blame you. I'll stay for the night." Was Yami's reply.

Stef was crying almost all day but finally slept. Yami looked down and smiled, and tries to break free of the embrace.

Stef doesn't let go and pulls him in tighter where there meeting face to face.

"'She sleeps so peaceful."' Yami states in his mind as he reaches for her hair

Flashback:

A girl screams.

"Stefany!" Yami yelled

"Do it! Seal me!" Stefany shouted

"But.." Yami hesitated

"No time to argue! just do it!" she said

"Alright. I seal the princess of the shadow creatures" Yami says

Stefany screams one final time before she disappears.

"Thank you friend." Stefany says in a ghostly voice as she goes to her kingdom as Yami defeats the evil.

And reigns over his land.

Flashback End:

Yami jumps and falls off Stef's bed.

"Ow" he sighed

"'Did I really do that to her?"' Yami asked this question silently.

"'Wonder she's been acting distance lately. she's trying to cover a heart break...that I caused."' Yami thought

"Yami?" she mumbled scared a little.

"Don't worry Stef. go back to sleep." Yami says hugging Stef in a tight embrace and stroking her hair.

As he said Stef slept again.

"She really is peaceful when she sleeps" Yugi states coming out of the millennium puzzle.

"Yes she does look peaceful." Yami replied still stroking Stef's hair.

"Want me to look at her dreams?" Yugi asks with a smirk

"No!" Yami says turning red.

"Okay, okay. I'm going to be in the puzzle thinking okay." Yugi says. Yami nods, as Yugi leaves.

"How do you live with the burdens?" Yami whispers out loud.

"Your here?" Stef says waking up slowly.

Yami chuckles a little.

"Yes little Airi." Yami says

Stef glows bright red.

"I love it when you make that face." he says chuckling.

"What face?" Stef asked pouting

"The confused look, with a blush to it." he explained

"Oh" was all Stef said.

"Hey." Yami said stroking Stefs hair.

She didn't mind at all if it was Yami who did it.

"I'm sorry." she said softly

"For what?"

"For today. you were only trying to protect me and you have to protect Yugi, you have to save the world. I just added to your stress. and I'm sorry for that." Stef apologizes

"I don't blame you for anything." Yami said coming closer to Stef's face.

"Do you mind?" he asked Stef.

"Only if it's you...because I trust you." she said with a huge blush on her face.

Yami smiles and kisses her in the mouth. his tongue demanding for an entrance, Stef gives him the entrance but there tongue battled each other. Yami wins the battle and explores her mouth.

"You taste like chocolate." Yami breathed when they broke up for air.

"Is that bad?" Stef asked nervously. but Yami only pulled her closer she blushed.

"Not at all Airi." Yami stated as he kissed her again.

"'Why did he have to be so damn attractive!"' Stef states in her mind.

Yami as if reading her mind chuckled.

"I'm attractive now am I?" he teased

Stef grew very red.

"Arigato." she said

"For what?"

"For being there for me." she hesitated.

"Well lookey here we have lovebirds in the house!" someone states both Yami and Stef look who said that. it was Joey and Tristan.

(Anime vein pop on both Yami & Stef)

"What are you 2 doing here?" Stef says trying to calm down.

"What does it matter, you should already go out with the pharaoh." Joey teased

At this Stef blushed in all types of red colors.

"Joey. Tristan." Yami stated catching the 2 boys attention.

"How did you find the house?" he asked

"Oh. hmm let's see, we came to get you for the tournament semi finals. and were supposed to meet the others in half an hour." Joey states

".....?" Then it clicked in Stef's mind

"Eeeh!" Stef says as she transports Yami to Yugi's room. transport back to her house transports Joey and Tristan to their homes and then she gets ready.
