I keep on running down the trail by the canal with music blasting in my ears.

It pauses, and plays my ringtone. I look down to find my best friend Chloe on caller I.d.

I stop running, and answer the phone.

"H..hello?" I say in between heavy breaths.

"Riley! Sorry..haha I didn't know you were running..but we're going to a party tonight! Everyone from school is going to be there!" She said.

I didn't really like our school parties. They were always full of perverted horny high school boys just waiting to jump on the girls. I liked down to earth things like star gazing, walking around the town at night and talking. But, for Chloe, I would because I knew she liked them.

"Chloe, your lucky I love you so much." I said smiling I little bit.

"Yes! I thought you would say no! Thank you! I'll pick you up at 7:30! Bye! Oh! And dress hot. Kay bye!" She said hanging up.

I laughed, and checked the time.

5:30.

Just enough time to get ready.

I ran back home and entered my house. My mom looked up at me from the couch.

"How was your run hunny?" She asked.

"Fine mom. Uh.... Chloe wants me to go to a party later. Can I go? And before you lecture me, no I'm not going to do drugs, drink, or anything else. Just to get that out of the way." I said smirking at her.

"You better be careful. Don't do anything stupid. Your sixteen, and you don't want to ruin your beautiful future." She said getting up and kissing me on my cheek.

"Ew! You stink! Go take a shower.." She said wrinkling her nose.

I smiled at her.

"Thanks mom."

My dad walked in right about when I was walking up the stairs.

"Hi Riley." He kissed me on my cheek.

"Geez. Mom wasn't kidding. You do stink." He said.

"You guys are so nice to me you know that?" I said laughing up the stairs.

I loved my parents. They always put a smile on my face.

I stripped down, and entered the shower. I washed my Long brown hair.

I got out, wrapped my body, and hair in a towel.

I looked at myself in the mirror to do my makeup. I grabbed my foundation, I put a little bit on, not wanting to cake my face like most the girls at my school. Applied a small amount of powder, mascara to bring out my crystal blue eyes.

I put on a light brown eye shadow around my eyelids. Satisfied with my makeup, I took off my towel that wrapped my hair.

I blow dried it, and straighten it.

I left the bath room, and looked at the time. 6:30.

I plugged in my iPhone into my Ihome to play some music.

I walked over to my closet to pick out a dress.

I eventually picked out a dark blue short dress. It hugged me in all the right places. It was long sleeved but the sleeves were sheer.

I picked out some ankle pumps, and looked at myself it the mirror.

I did a few touch ups.

My blue crystal eyes were shining. My figure looked great. My legs looked awesome, well I can thank dance for that. My long brown hair looked fuller than ever.

I had to admit. I looked pretty good.

I glanced at my clock it was 7:25. I picked up my little purse, and walked down the stairs.

Like it was timed. There was a knock on the door.

"Bye mom! Bye dad!" I shouted to them.

I opened the door to my beautiful best friend.

Her blonde hair was long and straighten like mine. She had a white short party dress that fit her perfectly.

"Come on let's go! You look amazing!" She said grabbing my hand and dragging me along.

"Not so bad yourself. Psh you look absolutely beautiful!" I said smiling at her.

"Just get in the car...and thank you." She said entering the drivers seat.

I got into her black convertible bug. I turned on some music blasting it. Me and her were singing along to it when she turned it down.

"Oh..I forgot to tell you something.." She said with her voice pretty soft.

"What?" I asked.

"Jason is going to be there." She said.

All the memories started flowing back into my head. Like a tornado thrashing around in my brain.
