****Faith’s POV****
I slowly stood up still with my eyes glued on his now live and living body. Fresh tears fell down my cheeks. And they weren’t sad tears, they were happy tears. They could have the life that I know Jason wanted. I wanted it for them. I saw it when I looked at his body lying there on the cold floor. Two beautiful kids, Jason can be the loving protective father, and Riley can be the caring Mother whose always there for her children.
I let out a happy sob. I didn’t know what to do. I was frozen. I put a hand delicately over my mouth taken in what my brain couldn’t cope. I stumbled back over my own feet. My brain finally clicked, and I took off outside. Jake was sitting down with his head in his hands on the porch steps. Austin was leaning against the pillar looking off into the front yard.
I stopped dead in my tracks as both their head snapped towards my location. The words were on the tip of my tongue but my mouth wasn’t letting them out.
Jake got up and looked at me confused, “Are you okay? What happened?”
I didn’t realize I probably scared him half to death. I was practically crying, happy tears of course, but he didn’t know that. He just saw my run out of the room where his brother just passed.
“I-I…Jason…h-he’s,” I stuttered.
Jake took my hands into his.
“Faith, take a breath.”
My gaze slowly met his as he stared down at me. I nodded, and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath that was much needed.
“Jason. He’s alive. I was putting the sheet over him, and his eyes shot open. They were gold. “I finally spoke.
Jake stood there frozen, his eyes wide at the words that just escaped my mouth. I put a hand on his cheek, and his eyes darted to mine.
“He’s alive Jake.” A smile grew on my face as the words rolled off my tongue.
He looked over at the front door, and ran inside, as did Austin. His expression was the same as Jakes. Shocked.
I quickly followed behind them and already saw Jake with his ear on Jason’s chest. His eyes went wide as I knew he heard the beautiful sound of a heartbeat.
He slowly stood back up.
“How the hell did this happen?” He asked.
I froze in the moment. I never thought of that.
My gaze met the ground as I went into deeper thought.
How did this happen? I saw Riley try to heal him, but it didn’t work. She tried, I know she did. He died with his soul mate in his arms.
I looked up at Jake again, and he was just as confused as I was.
“Riley’s tears.” Austin spoke.
Both of our heads turned to Austin.
“How do you know that? Why didn’t you tell us that in the first place?” I said getting angry.
Jake came over to me, and put a hand on my shoulder. I took a deep breath, and stared at Austin waiting for him to reply.
“Beast was worried about this. He said something about it to Chloe, it concerned him. I didn’t think about until now. I’m sorry. There’s a lot that’s happened today okay?’” he raised his tone as his sentence ended.
I was about to reply when Jake nudged my arm, and I looked up at him. His eyes were wide and staring at Jason’s location. My head immediately found its way to Jason’s body.
He began to cough, regaining strength. I made my way over to him, as I saw his face had regained color. Jake, Austin, and I were all hovering over him. His eyes slowly opened. His eyes, again, were glowing a bright gold. He looked at me, then at Austin and Jake. His eyes slowly regain their bright green.
“Where’s Riley?”

****Riley’s POV****
Everything in me was numb. My muscles, my bones, it felt like everything had been frozen. I didn’t want to talk, I felt very drained, and depressed. My heart? It felt like it was ripped into pieces.
I didn’t want to live. I wanted to be in Jason’s arms safe, instead of living in fear like I was. Like I am. I know what you’re thinking. Why go kill yourself? You will find someone else. It’s impossible. Cliché right? I should be strong. I can’t. I physically and mentally can’t. I can feel the pull I have to him. You know like the werewolf stories you read, and fan girl over? I feel like I was his “mate”. We were meant to be.
My body couldn’t cope with the pain, and sadness I was feeling. My eye lids were slowly getting heavier, and heavier. I tried my best to keep them open, and pull over at a hotel so I could clear my head and set my goals to what’s going to happen with my life. I’m going to the gift association.
I pulled into the parking lot of the hotel, and cut the trucks engine. I got out with a blank expression on my face. I walked through the front door to the front desk.
The lady looked up at me. She reeked the smell of smoke and sweat. Her gray face, with her earned wrinkles over her years, were staring at me. Her hair was turning white, and was done up in a messy sort of up-do. Her eyes were just as gray as her face. She stared at me in a disgusted expression.
“Can I help you ma’am?” she spat out with her now known southern accent.
“I’d like a room. One bed.” I said blankly.
She looked at me with her disgusted expression before turning around in her seat, and reaching out her frail hand for a room key. Once her fingers latched around the rusty key she turned back to me.
“Room two-oh-two. Have fun.” She handed me the key without looking up from her desk.
I grabbed the key, and headed up the stairs that made a loud creaking sound every other step. After five flights of stairs, and a long hallway walk, I finally made it to room 202. I slid the key in, and the door creaked open just like the stairs. I walked in , and closed the door behind me. I went straight into the bed lifting up the dirty sheets, and climbing in.
I laid my head down, and immediately fell asleep.
***Dream***
I sprang up in a very soft bed. It was white, and beautiful, but not as beautiful as the room. It looked like Jason’s beach house.
I felt a strong arm touch my shoulder, and startled, I jumped and turned my body towards it.
It was those green eyes that I was dying to see once again. I smiled, and reached my arms around him, but all I felt was the bed. I opened my eyes, and sat up. Jason was by the bedroom door now, staring at me blankly.
“Don’t do it Riley.”
